The sun was starting to peep over the houses, meaning the end of another sleepless night. Sighing I got off the window seat I had been perched on and wondered over to the bathroom, that was attached to out room. The bathroom was like the rest of the house dark and neglected, it was kinda gross but what can you do?
Looking at my reflection in the large gold antique mirror I groaned, I had bloodshot eyes and literal mountains for eye bags- just great. My appearance only fuelled my foul mood.
I turned the shower onto the hottest setting in hopes of boiling off my skin, but much to my luck no hot water ever came, fucking great, letting out another groan I hopped in. After my shower that didn't freeze me to death much to my dismay, I put on some light makeup to try cover up my lack of sleep, and put on a comfy flowing dress that was a bit short but oh well, who cares, it's just a body.

Exiting the bathroom I was greeted with a cheery luna "Good morning dear sister!"
"Morning" I grumbled back with a small smile
"I love new places, it's just so different" she said dreamily while inspecting her surroundings"
"it does make a change"
"oh! let's go down for breakfast, I think everyone is down there already"
Fuck me this is stressful, new people, ugh I'm about as sociable as a pea. I should have stayed at home, what the worst that could have happened, torture? death? Sound miles better to me.
Luna grabbed my hand making me quite literally jump out of my thoughts and started dragging me out the door. My palms started sweating as my anxiety started taking off like a rocket, coming down the stairs I could hear mummers coming from the room we first went into last night. As we came closer to what I would call hell, I started shaking, gulping down the lump in my throat we both entered.
Lots and lots of people, that's the first thing I noticed- "Good morning," Luna aired dreamily, excitement clear in her voice. Everyone turned to look at us, I paled, but gave a small smile trying to try hide my discomfort.
"Today is a beautiful day, make sure you keep a close eye on your shoes" Luna added lazily

Sirius noticed the younger Lovegoods discomfort and pulled her down to sit with him and another man who had sandy hair and various scars all over his face.
while Luna carried on her conversation with the rest, Sirius made small talk with the younger girl.
"Oh! do forgive me" he said clapping his hands, "this is Remus Lupin, my best friend in the whole wide world" he finished with a massive grin, that reminded her of the cat from Alice in Wonderland.
"Astarina Lovegood" she said lightly extending her hand
Remus was taken back by the younger girl, "nice to meet you, forgive my curiosity but how come I haven't met you before? I don't remember teaching you"
"oh heh yeah I'm homeschooled" she said looking down still feeling rather nervous
Remus leant back a little thinking, "ah that makes sense, can I ask why?" he asked while studying the timid girl
"just some personal reasons" she mumbled almost inaudibly
This made Sirius chuckle loudly and in a swift movement he grabbed the girls and cradled her, "AWWHHH YOUR SO CUTE LITTLE LOVEY" he cooed loudly, making everyone look at the pair " I think I'm going to keep you forever!"
This made Astarina go bright red in the face, she felt faint.
Pulling the girl out of his hold he pinched her cheeks, "I shall protect you from the world little lovey don't you worry! SO ADORABLE"
The girl felt mildly comforted by the man, however all the stares were very uncomfortable for her, "who's this Sirius?" an unknown voice said, but before the girl could catch a glimpse of the owner of the voice she was met with a warm hard chest.
"Don't worry about it Harry", the older man chuckled
"She's my darling younger sister" a dreamy voice added
"I didn't know you had a sister Luna"
"you never asked"
Suddenly Astarina was turned so she was sitting sideway on Sirius's lap, the girl was very flustered at this point, she was basically red all over.
"I'm Harry Potter"
Looking to the side, Astarina was met with a strikingly handsome face, he had a scar on his forehead, and shaggy dark brown hair that was unruly- he was the most handsome boy she had ever seen. She was evermore flushed now, going a darker red.
