What has changed?

Chapter thirteen

We sat in the common room for a few hours and then all decided to go to bed. But I saw something nobody else saw. Lee had a hickey on his neck.

I laid in bed and thought about it for some time. -did Lee had a girlfriend and we all don't know about her. Or maybe it was from George since the two of them wanted to go to the library earlier. Sooner or later I'm gonna find out.

And with that thought I drifted off to sleep, cuddling with Ginger.

„You coming, love?" a voice yelled through the burrow. „Yes, I'm coming." I jogged down the stairs to see all the Weasleys, my family and Harry sitting in front of a big Christmas tree with lots of presents underneath.

Fred was standing at the end of the staircase, reaching out for my hand. We walked over to the tree and sat down next to them.

Fred looked down at me and smiled, we were still holding hands and I laid my head on his shoulder.

After everybody got their presents, we went to the table to eat. I sat next to Fred and Ron. We all laughed and talked, it was a niceChristmas eve.

My mum and I helped Molly with the dishes and the twins were playing with Noah and his new toys, in the living room.

I loved the relationship between Fred and my younger brother. He was just so good with kids and it made my heart warm up.

„Go to him." Molly said as she saw me looking at my boyfriend. „Really? I can help you it's no problem." I responded. My mum hugged me and kissed the top of my head. „Go have some fun." she said pointing at the three boys.

I washed my hands and went off. „Hey Noah, can I have my boyfriend for a minute or two?" I asked the little boy. „Yeah, I will play with Gorg." he was now speaking, but was still not able to pronounce some names right, especially George's.

Fred got up from the floor and took my hand looking down at me. „What can I do for you, darling?" he asked me. „Let's go for a walk, shall we?" he nodded and lead me towards the door.

We put some jackets on and a cold breeze creased trough my face as he opened the door for me. He took my hand and we walked outside, snow was laying everywhere.

We walked a few feet in the Winterwonderland as it started snowing. I looked up and a snowflake landed on my nose. I chuckled.

Fred pulled me closer to him and looked me in my eyes. „You know that I really love you, Y/n. And you are the best thing that has ever happened to me." I blushed and looked down at my feet, but he pulled my chin back up, so I was facing him again.

„I love you too, Freddie. And I want to spend the rest of my live with you."

He moved his head nearer to mine. And kissed me soulfully.

We pulled out and he spun me around. I chuckled at his actions and we started walking again.

„You're cold?" he asked. „A bit." so he pulled his hat and his scarf down and put them on to me. I gave him a small nose scrunch. -he loved that.

„You're so cute!" he smiled at me.

After like half an hour we decided to go back home, since it was freezing outside and I couldn't feel my feet anymore.

We arrived at the burrow and everybody was gone by now, in their bedrooms.

„You want some hot chocolate before we go to bed?" he asked me. „I would love to."

He put me into his arms, bridal style and placed me on the counter of the kitchen. And made hot chocolate.

It gave me a throwback when we weren't dating and I spend a week here at the end of the summer holidays. And he made coffee for us, since we were the first ones awake, while we talked.
