A burning inferno

Flames stood tall over two small boys, as they were limp on the floor, the immense heat and smoke making them unable to move. The majority of the people in the house had already been burned to death, so there was little hope that the boys would be saved.
Having already accepted their fate, young Denji shielded his brother from the burning inferno, while slowly waiting for what would come for them eventually.
He leaned down, holding his little brother in his arms as he whispered reassuring words. The pros would come and save them, and then they would be fine. Of course, those words were lies, Denji had no intentions of living through this fire.
The only thing he wanted, was to save his younger brother.
Eito wanted to be a hero someday, and the best heroes had tragic backstories. So Denji wouldn't mind laying his life down now, then maybe Eito could be a wonderful hero in the future.
