Till Death Do Us Part(short story)

Chapter 2

Courtney's POV

I woke up feeling unusual.I feel like

the pain that I have been going through

lately has lessened.Because I know that

Zack is here for me.

Speaking of Zack,I think I felt something

touch my cheek last night.

What am I even thingking?Zack would never kiss my cheek.I'm just his bestfriend.

What if I visit him for dinner too?Would he be happy to see me?

I let myself in his house since the door was

open.

"Zack?Zack?I brought dinner!"I called his name a few times

but there was no reply.

I went to the living room and saw a piece

of paper.On it was results with his name on it.Stage 4 blood cancer(leukemia).

I felt my heart sink with pain.My tears were falling.I hurried upstairs to check on him.I saw him.Lying on the floor,he was very pale ,looking very weak and as if he has fainted.

I cried even more.I felt my heart beating so

fast.My hands are shaking.

I called the ambulance .After a few minutes,the ambulance came.

"Zack!Zack!wake up!Couldn't this ambulance go any faster?!Zack!You said you'd be here for me!"

Finally,we arrived at the hospital.I ran as fast as I could to the emergency room

trying to catch up with the running nurse.

"We're very sorry ma'am but you couldn't

go in."

I stood in front of the emergency room doors,Crying.In exhaust,I fainted.

I woke up in a room.I saw Zack still unconscious and lying on the other bed.

I'm very tired at this moment.I could feel

the symptoms of ...maybe my last..heart

attack.

I could barely breathe.My chest was in

pain.

I held Zack's hand.

"Z-Zack,I..i L-Love y...you.Till death do us part".

I could feel my last breaths,then I saw Zack awake.He was smiling.

"I l..love y..you t..too.Till death do us part."those were his last words.He's gone.

I had my very last tears..I kissed his hand..

And I,Courtney Presse,slowly closed my eyes..too.Because I know,that death will

never do us part...

Zack's POV

I was with her.She held my hand and kissed it,and said I love you.

And "I love you too...Till death do us part..",were my last words...

And I,Zack Parker,slowy closed my eyes,Because I know that death will never do us apart...
