Terror

Return of Marcus

Adrian started the day by fighting off deadly monster snakes and jungle predators. He stabbed a jaguar in the stomach then slaughtered a genetically engineered alpha snake by killing it with bare hands. The snake let out a giant hiss and then died on the ground next to his feet. Adrian then picked up his spear and skinned the snake. He peeled of the skin from the snake and then he picked up the snake's skull and left only the ribs, vertebrae and skin of the snake. He climbed back onto his horse and rose towards the new settlement which they settled in just the previous day. Meanwhile, Marcus was still at the hospital and the doctors were treating his wounds. "Looks like you will need to stay here for another 2 weeks," a doctor said to him. "2 weeks? That means I can not go back to my friends for another 2 weeks?" Marcus said. "You need to calm down. You will leave when you are ready." 2 weeks passed and still Marcus didn't return. The doctors came into his room with some food and water. "Eat up. You'll need some food to remain strong," a doctor said. The doctors then gave Marcus the food and he ate up. They then gave water to him since he needed to drink water every day. The doctors then told him to rest since they were going to sedate him for an operation. 12 days later, the doctors told Marcus he was ready to leave and that a truck was waiting for him. The truck driver than drove Marcus to the abandoned Native American settlement, thinking that its his home. "Have a good day," the truck driver said. Marcus, now lost without any of his friends to ask for help had no clue where to go. There were no vehicles nearby and a menacing monster snake was staring at him with frightening red eyes. The snake chased after him, but he ran through the jungle as quick as a cheetah, so the snake lost its breath and slithered up a tree. "Don't move a muscle," Marcus whispered to himself. The monster snake then reappeared and it was on top of a branch, showing off its sharp menacing fangs. The snake then almost striked Marcus' face, but he hit the snake with a stick. A panther than appeared and the panther fought the monster snake. The panther roared and growled at the snake while it tried to constrict the panther. The panther, however, bit the snake's head off and it then ate the flesh on the monster snake's head. The panther sat next to Marcus looking all friendly and putting its paws on Marcus' leg. Marcus then jumped onto the back of the panther and rode towards the new settlement. After about 3 hours, night fell and he had to sleep. He laid next to the panther under his campfire. The next day, he arrived at the new settlement where Adrian and his friends were.
