As the tribe was eating lunch the following day, Marcus showed him some news that he found on his phone. "Look, this is about a subspecies of monster snake. The species was recently classified by monster snake studying venom toxicity and a visible trait, which was the alphas having yellow eyes instead of the usual red," said Marcus. "Okay that is really cool, but where did you get that info? Is it from a reliable source?" asked Adrian. "I- I do not know. I just found the news online. It was on my front page," said Marcus. "Okay, well check the source. Make sure there is a scientific paper associated with the research and or published on a scientific website." "Hurry up, Adrian. You are already late for the hunt", a tribeswoman said. The tribesmen already started to mount on their horses while Adrian came running over. He mounted on his horse, made sure he had his weapons with him and then took off. His horse took off galloping while Adrian watched for prey animals atop his horse. His horse galloped through the cool jungle night and arrived at the banks of the Amazon River. He got off his horse, got his spear and bow and arrow then got into a canoe with the other tribesmen. They pushed the canoe off the banks of the Amazon River into the cooler deeper waters of the river to hunt their trophy prey for tonight, caiman. "Beware of jaguars," Akikta said. "They've been known to hunt in rivers at night." While paddling, Adrian saw the flick of a caiman's tail as it dove below the river's surface. "I saw a caiman," he said. "What? Where?" the tribesmen asked. "It was right there, under the water," said Adrian. Adrian then jumped off the canoe and into the cool waters of the Amazon River. "Be careful. Don't get attacked," Marcus said. Adrian dove head first and grabbed the caiman by its tail. He then pulled it onto the boat and the other tribesmen carried their trophy from there. Adrian was left in the treacherous waters of the Amazon River. While trying to swim ashore, Adrian saw a dark shadow of what was thought to be an anaconda. However, as he swam closer, the shadow was revealed to be a monster snake. The monster snake than followed him through the water, swimming really fast. Adrian managed to escape the snake and landed on a small island in the middle of the river. He was stranded and nobody was there to help. He yelled for help, but that didn't work out. The monster snake was attracted to this noise and it bared its fangs as well as show its scary yellow eyes. It came closer to Adrian and finally lunged. He choked the snake and finally killed it. He stood on top of the dead snake with victory.
