I woke up to the sound of birds singing and leaves rustling. "Good morning Ava" saffron smiled as she put the breakfast onto cook. "The rest of them are out hunting, they should be back by lunchtime, so in the meantime, let's eat breakfast and then I'll show you around." I smiled and nodded. Saffron bought out a large plate, it had many different fruits on it, then she bought out another, with cold meat, she also handed me a bowl full of blue/grey mush. "What's this?" I pointed to the thick consistency in the bowl. "Its scrambled eggs, they are blue because they come from other rare birds around here. They are very nice." I smiled and started to eat all the unusual foods around me, they tasted delicious "this is so much better than porridge!" I exclaimed with a mouthful of food. "That's great to know" saffron took a bite from her fig, "but remember, we only have this on Sunday. We have a different breakfast each day" I looked at her in surprise "woah, I can't wait to eat all the amazing foods here" saffron laughed. "That's one good thing about the jungle, but there are many dangers that comes with it as well." We cleared up breakfast and prepared some things, like water, food and tools to use for climbing, and fighting. "Ready?" Saffron smiled. "I sure am" I laughed and grabbed my water. It was held in a coconut, the coconut was sealed with a sticky fruit and bits of wood acting as nails and glue. It was a very good idea. Saffron lead me through the deep forest, I saw many insects and birds. They were so beautiful and elegant. We can across a watering hole "look!" Saffron pointed. A small baby elephant, the color of pink, which had brown freckles all over its back, played with another, Grey, muddy elephant. They squirted out dashes of water, and fell over sometimes. The scene was beautiful, and at that point I wished I could take pictures with my eyes. "We need to go now ..." Saffron trailed off. She bent down and felt the ground. "13:45, roughly. Let's go" I looked at her with wide eyes "how did you do that?!" I exclaimed. "It's a jungle thing, I will teach you it some day." I smiled and helped her up. "Let's go the short cut." I looked at her confused. "I hate to be rude, but don't you think the long way is safer?" Saffron laughed "do you want to have lunch?" We ventured through the dark part of the forest. A cave came up ahead. "What's, what's in there?" I asked saffron, terrified. "Oh crap! Its a wolf cave!" Be very quiet. We crept past, leaves crunching underneath out feet. The silence was deafening. We nearly past the cave, when a crunch sounded behind us, a wolf, with snarling teeth glared at us, it howled and the rest of the pack came out. 8 angry, hungry wolves stood in front of us, baring their teeth, ready for their meal. "On the count of 3" Saffron whispered "we run. 1, 2, 3, RUN!" ...
