It had been going on for a slightly less then a year now, but she never actually realised what was going on. She should have, and she blamed herself for what had happened, though everyone told her not to. He never listened, never stopped even after she blocked him on Facebook. She never told anyone, never realised what was happening, how he was trying to get closer. How he “accidentally” fell and his hand just happened to land on her butt. She tried to convince herself that it wasn’t because of her that this had all happened, that even though her friend told her that he did stuff like that in primary school. Never was it expected that it would ever happen to her. That kind of stuff only happened in movies, only happened to other people. Not her, not the teenager who got straight A’s and didn’t hang out with creeps. She should have known, as soon as he didn’t stop speaking to her the way that he did. The second of the third. Once, one of his friends, whom she also thought was her friend, joined in. Repeated what he said. Ew. She almost burst into tears just thinking about it. But there was no way she could tell her boy friend. It was too emotional.
Stalked at 14. Wow. What a movie that would be. But no one would ever publish it. The things he said were rated R18+ . They also used ‘sexual harassment’. fabulous. Now everyone knew that she was “that girl that got sexually harassed”. She just couldn’t deal with it yet. That’s why she had kept it a secret.
But he definitely deserved to be expelled. Especially after he put her though so much pain, put her in a place where she didn’t feel safe, for a whole year. Some of the things that he said? Not to be repeated on any site, in any book (other then probably 50 Shades of Grey).
If she were to repeat the words that were repeatedly aimed at her, then she would put a very thick filter on her mouth, and so just to give a clear idea of what he said,
“You have nice boobs,”
“You have a nice ass”.
Not even those being the worst things that he said, with the words strung into those dreadful sentences.
“I want to be inside of you”
“Make babies with me”
“Screw me”
He took away all he power, made her feel scared and unwelcome, afraid to go on Facebook, and afraid to go to school. Though she never realised these feelings, preferring to keep them bundled up inside where she couldn’t remember them.
It took her w while to tell the teacher, after a notification went off on her phone and her mum read it. This made her break down and tell her mum. Not all of it obviously, just the not so bad stuff. So she told her best friend, and she was there for her. She couldn’t tell one of her other friends, who she pretended she was lesbian with, because that friend liked him. He had spoken so rudely to her gay friend - to put the sly comments into perspective, and she had a feeling that her sexual harasser was a homophobic. When she told her teacher, she told the only female teacher there was out of her four main teachers. Her english teacher was horrified, and automatically went to the deputy for the middle school. Her stalker was suspended for a week, and then had to take a sexual harassment course, though as soon as he got back it made her scared again, though it would probably take a while for her to get over that anxiousness.
She didn’t tell her boyfriend - didn’t want to incase she broke down crying in font of him, he probably wouldn’t know how to handle it anyway. Only one other friend knew, and she planned to keep it as little known as possible.
