"Hello Manchester!!! How ya doing, you good?" asked Harry to his microphone. Screaming increased in a way only Harry can make it. 

They were doing a show in Manchester. 

They had just finished singing Stockholm Syndrome, which instantly boosted the mood. 

"Thanks for having us!!" said Louis once the screaming decreased. 

"This is Little Things" said Liam to the microphone.

After Little Things finished, it was time to joke around a little bit. 

You might think Louis would be the one to joke around but it was Liam. 

Niall were just looking at the audience when Liam pulled him down from his knee. 

Liam wrapped his arms around Niall's knees and pulled him down. 

Louis and harry laughed as Liam stood up, laughing. 

Liam stood up and went next to Louis. Yet Niall didn't stand up, couldn't actually. 

His knee was in real pain and it does hurts. 

Once Liam saw Niall struggling to get up, fear and concern filled his face. He might have injured his friend.

No. His best friend, his best mate. 

Some of the fans were crying some of them was screaming their lungs out. "OH MY GOD, HIS KNEE" they were screaming something like that. 

Niall managed got up and looked at his knee, since his knee was in pain, and looked up to meet Liam's apologetic and concerned eyes. 

Once Liam saw Niall looking at him he lunged forward and pulled Niall to a bone crashing hug. 

"I'm sorry, i'm so sorry Ni. Are you okay? Are your knee hurting? I'm sorry. I didn't know what i was doin-" Liam rambled but Niall shushed him "It's ok Li. You didn't mean to, i know. My knee hurts a little but i'm okay"

Liam pulled away and wrapped an arm around the Irish lad's waist. Niall wrapped his arm around Liam's shoulder and the show continued like that. 

They checked Niall up once they were in the backstage to be sure he was ok. Turned out he has a floating knee cap. 

He had to have a knee surgery because of it. 

The whole time, Niall was in the surgery, the lads were sitting in the waiting room. 

Liam was pacing back and fourth but oh well.

After 6 hours a doctor finally appeared on the doors and asked "Here for Niall James Horan?" catching all the lads' attention. 

They ran to the doctor and he started to explain.

"Mr. Horan is okay now. He isn't awake yet and i don't think he will wake up for 1 or 2 hours due to anesthesia. You can see him though, his room number is 125."

Liam ran to the elevators and Larry (A/N: See what i did there ;) )followed him after saying thank you to the doctor. 

 Liam quickly sat to the chair next to Niall's bed and put his head to his hands. 

After a few minutes Larry came in too and took their seats next to each other. Harry put his head to Louis' shoulder and Louis put his head to Harry's curls. 

1 hour and 30 minutes later, Niall slowly opened his eyes. Liam's eyes widened at the sight of Niall waking up. "Harry, Louis, Ni is waking up" and smiled brightly with tears still filled in his eyes. He had been crying ever since Niall got his surgery. 

"Where am i?" Niall mumbled as he had just woken up. 

"You are in hospital Ni, how are you feeling" asked Harry as he and Louis came next to the hurt lad. 

Just as Niall was going to answer it, the doctor, appeared in the door. "Ah, you're awake Mr. Horan. How are you feeling?" he said "Fine, just my knee hurts a little" replied Niall. "That's normal after the surgery. I will just tell the nurse to give you some more pain killers and you should be fine after 5 days." said the doctor, to Niall and to the lads. 

"How long do i have to stay here" asked Niall. Excitement was clear in his tone about the thought of getting out. 

"Woah, wait for a minute lad, you just got out of the surgery" said Louis, Harry and Liam just nodded, making Niall groan and curse under his breath. 

"Your friend is right, i'm afraid. Your knee is still recovering. you  will have to stay here for maximum 2 weeks." Niall groaned but whimpered slightly when he moved his knee a little. 

"At least can you give me some pain killers?" asked Niall. "Yeah, i'm going to tell a nurse about it" the doctor replied and went out of the room, leaving the lads alone. 

A few minutes later, a nurse came in, gave some pain killers to the sick boy before getting out. 

After 1 and a half week, which was full of the lads taking care of Niall, the Irish lad was back to his goofy, hungry self.
