".....on't .......ive ......wo..." An unfamiliar voice said from deep within the cave
It had caught everyone's attention, but this voice had sent chills down my spine
"Wh- what's this voice?" Ace asked
"St.... one..... sssss...... Mine"
"I think it's getting closer" Deuce said worriedly
Then all of a sudden an unfamiliar and yet familiar creature appeared
"Stone...... Is MIIIIIINNEEE!" It yelled
I was petrified, I stood there... Not knowing why.
"What... what is this..." I said
Ever since father disappeared I was determined to never be afraid of anything. To keep mom safe I had to be ready to face any fear. So I never felt afraid since. I just laughed off the fear, the sadness or even sometimes the anger. Even to help others not feel fear I try to keep a joyful atmosphere around me. But this, this is something I'm sure I've encountered. But I can't remember where
"I- it's here!!!" The three dunces said in unison
'Think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts, keep smiling, don't let fear get to you, make jokes, have tea, yeah yeah' I said to myself as tears pricked in my eyes and a terrified smile plastered on my face as my legs trembled in fear
"What the heck is that thing!?" Deuce asked
"Fngaaa! Crowley didn't say anything about that!! Let's get outta here!" Grim yelled
"It's so nasty! But didn't it mention stone!?" Ace yelled
"Eh!?"
"St...... one, won't... give....!!!"
"So there are magic crystals left!" Deuce said
"N-n-n-n-nope! Nope! I'm a genius but I can't beat that thing!" Grim stuttered
"But we'll be expelled without it... I'm going!" Deuce said
"You've got to be kidding!?" Ace yelled
"It's impossible by yourself!" Yuu told Deuce
"D-don't be stupid, Deuce" I stuttered for the first time in what seemed years.
"I cannot, under any circumstances, be expelled!" Deuce stated as he shook my hand off and went in
"Leave.... Leave..... Leeeaaave!!!" The monster yelled
"Guh!" Deuce groaned as the monster hit him
"D-Deuce!" I yelled out
"Stand back if you have no control, Mr. Serious! I'll stop it! Haaa!" Ace yelled as he started using his wind magic
"Woaaaaaaaaahhhh" it had no effect on the monster
"guuaaahaaaah!" Ace groaned as he was then hit
"N-no! Ace!" I said as I tried to make my way to the two boys but my legs were still weak from fear and gave up on me as the next thing I know I'm on the ground with Rouge trying to comfort me and urge me to get up.
"Fngaaaa! Stay away!" Grim yelled as he casted out his fire
"Grrrrrr!!!"
"I- it's not working at all!"
"Did- did something just sparkle!?" I heard Yuu yell, I was just looking at the ground trembling
"Behind that thing! At the end of the tunnel, something!" I heard Ace
