Zorlia: Hey, Kiowa.

Kiowa: Yeah?

Zorlia: It's New Years Eve.

Kiowa: So?

Zorlia: So, will you kiss me at midnight?

Kiowa: No.

Zorlia: Why?

Kiowa: You don't own New Moon or Supernatural, that's why.

Zorlia: Oh, okay. Well, that's okay. *walks away*

Kiowa: Poor girl, I just broke her heart.

Aisling: Stupid, she might not write a new chapter now. Besides, she owns me and my mom.

Zorlia: *walks back with Jasper* Kiowa, this is Jasper. Jasper is older than you.

12:00 AM

Zorlia: Jasper, now. *Jasper kisses her cheek* Good, here's your fifty bucks, now go back to your vacation.

"That's the last of it. Unless there's anything else?" I looked up at Embry. He had just packed up the last bit of my things from my room. It's been about a few days after my spat with Dean. They had trouble releasing me to Embry and his mom, though I don't know the details. Embry didn't want me to worry about it, and I'm glad he took care of it without my help. I've just, been tired. Dean really took it out of me.

Anyway, because of the dispute, Sam Uley had somehow managed to let the hospital release me into his care. How? No idea. I'm just glad to be out of the place.

"Hey, everything's going to be okay. Trust me." Embry said, seeing my face as I remembered the past few days. He gave me a kiss on my forehead and grabbed  the boxes, walking out.

"Embry, do we have everything?" I saw Quil appear at the door. He and Embry both were helping me out. Embry looked at me for a moment, then looked back at Quil.

"Yeah, just give her a minute. And quite being lazy, get this other box out of my hands." I listened to them bicker playfully until out of earshot.

That's when I stood up and unlocked my trunk. Inside were the three bags of salt, some shotguns, a box of silver bullets, knives, a hachet and a machete (do not ask), a duffel bag, and my journal. I grabbed a bag of salt, most of the knives (unlike my brothers, I prefer them. Guns are too loud.) and my journal. I debated on if I should grab a shotgun or not, then decided I was good with what I had. I slammed the trunk shut and locked it.

I then went straight to the study, and grabbed a few books off the desk, and some off the shelves. They were all mainly books filled with common legends and such, so I didn't really need them, but better safe than sorry.

Opening the top drawer of my desk I emptied it and opened the secret compartment inside. Turning, I unlocked the glass case behind the desk with the key I had hidden. Inside the case were some of the more important books. Bobby had sent them to me, saying I was probably the best person to look after them. Frankly, I think it's just an excuse to use me for random researching projects because I have the books.

I shoved most of them into the bag, but it got full quick. Once I knew I had all the important pieces I closed the case and locked it again.

Now, I know I quit hunting. But, I'd feel safer with everything with me. With knowing what's in the dark, I like to know I have a way of protecting myself. Besides, some of this stuff was valuable, and you never know when some freak decides to rob the place.
