(Albina's pov)
Ive lived in a family just outside of rome. I've had a happy life until romans invaded into my homeland then killed my family and all the villages nearby. They captured me and a few other girls then we've been sent all the way to capua. When we got to Capua I saw a girl with wine in her hands.
"excuse me whats going to happen to me" I whispered to her.
"im sorry I cant talk to you because I have to get domina some wine if I keep her waiting she'll get suspicious" she said then walked away.
"stand up on the stage" the guard said pushing me up next to a group of girls on stage.
"People of capua, Who will buy this woman" The guy said touching my hair.
"she has nice body, very obedient " the guy said as a man raised his hand.
"5 denarius" he said.
"10 denarius" another man said. I can believe im going to get sold.
"100 denarius" the roman with armor raised his hand.
"do we have any more bets" the auctoner asked. Everyone didn't raised their hands.
"sold to Gaius Claudius Glaber " he said as Glaber walks up on stage.
"people of capua ive caught Thracians and they are going to be prosticuted in the arena when the sun hits halfway into the sky thank you" glaber said paying the guy who sold me. He grabs me then we walked into a room.
"do you know who I am slave" glaber asked.
"A Roman" I said making him slap me across the face.
"I'm Gaius Claudius Glaber and you call me dominus or you'll get punished do I make myself clear" he yelled. I stood there in silence.
"do I make myself clear!" he yelled as he slapped me across the face again.
"yes dominus" I said as some lady walks in with a smile on her face.
"this is my wife Llithyia you call her domina and while im gone you will do as she says" glaber said.
"yes dominus" I said.
"I didn't know you brought a slave" Llithyia said to glaber while looking at me.
"yes I did because I felt like it" he replied as a guy walks in with a woman with red hair.
"look this is glaber's new slave" Llithyia was trying to think of a name for me.
"Her name will be Albina Calieus" glaber replied.
"im quintus betiatus and this is my wife lacretia" betiatus said as glaber looks at me.
"don't just stand there bring in some wine" glaber commanded.
"yes dominus" I replied then walked around to find some wine. I went into the cells with men in cages. I saw a nice handsome looking guy. He looked very depressed.
"hey are you ok" I asked worried.
"no not really just leave me alone" he snapped.
"im sorry to disturb you" I said then walking into a dude. He looked like a gladiator.
"are you lost" he asked.
"yes can you please tell me where the wine is" I asked.
"ill walk you" he said as he lead me out of the cells.
"so you're a new slave im doctore I train gladiators in this ludus to fight in the arena" doctore said.
"im abina Calieus and glaber bought me in an auction" I said as he walked me to the wine.
" oh i see and here's the wine see you at the fight" doctore said then leaving.
"thank you" I said grabbing the wine. i saw a gladiator in a cell by himself. I walked back to glaber.
"What took you so long" he yelled.
"apologies dominus I got lost" I said pouring some wine.
"don't let it happen again" he said drinking his wine.
"yes dominus" I said.
"lets get ready for the fight" Llithyia said as glaber stands up.
"yeah and albina get us some water then meet us at the arena" glaber ordered.
"yes Dominus" I said then walked off to get some water.
