I got out of the casino as fast as I could. I ran 3 blocks before getting into my car. How did they know? I think to myself while I climb up to my window.
Before I can get into my bed I hear the door handle turn. Crap. how am I supposed to get into my bed in ten seconds.
I panicked. Stayed out of sight from the window, and prayed they didn't see me. I put pillows down to make it seem like I was sleeping. Fortunately I sleep with my covers over my head.
I hear the door shut, showing me that they left. "Thank God. I'm safe." I say under my breath.
I can't believe that worked. I mean I know it would've worked, but at the same time..... wow. I-I'm speechless. Everything I've know is proven to be right. It was pretty obvious that I want in bed and my family just ignored that.
They couldn't care less if I shot myself with my dad's gun (that he gave me). I-I don't have words to express this experience. What am I going to do? Should I leave?
Maybe I can live with Kandece? I think to myself while I pack my stuff in my suitcase. I didn't know how to get to the train station in time,so I ended up calling her and getting her to come down. I don't even bother with climbing out the window again.
I walk down the stairs and my two bratty cousins are watching TV. Their then told to go to their bedrooms and go to sleep. When they went upstairs I went down. I put my index finger in my lips and handed them pieces of chocolate.
"Thanks Sky!" they say and run up the stairs before I can catch them. Lucky for them, they weren't loud enough to wake up my drunken passed out uncle on the couch.
"Sky where are you going?" a quiet gentle voice said.
"To Kandy's?" I respond in a quiet enough voice so I won't wake up the baby in her arms. He's my baby brother.
"Well,are sure to check in with me when you get there. Okay?"
"Yeah." I shut the door behind me slowly until I hear the click, letting me know the door is shut and I can continue with my night.
