Chapter 2: A New Friend

The next day Naruto woke up to the sound of construction and saw a whole training course. Naruto then walks to the end of the course and sees a man with crimson red hair and eyes with fox ears and tail.

N: "Kurama?"

K: "Oh, hey kit."

N: "What's this?"

K: "This is a training course that you're going to go through everyday."

N: "Really!?"

K: "Yes, now stay here I'm going to go get you new clothes."

N: "Ok, but what can I do while you're gone?"

K: "Idk, go look for food or something!?"

At the mention of food Naruto zoomed of to find something to eat.

(With Naruto)

N: 'What can I have to eat?'

While Naruto was walking through the forest looking for food he starts to hear noise from a bush. He then gets closer to it and a little fox jumps out. Naruto then bends down near the fox and tells the fox that he isn't going to hurt her. Another noise comes from the bush and the fox runs behind Naruto. He wonders why the fox is scared  but then he sees a wolf come out of the bush. The wolf then charges at the fox but Naruto makes a clone and uses the rasengan on the wolf, killing it. Naruto then decides that he will have cooked wolf for breakfast. He then looks at the fox and sees that it is following him so he decides that she will be living with him and Kurama from now on.

(2 hours Later)

Kurama is seen walking back to the cave. When he gets there he smells something delicious.

K: 'I didn't expect Naruto to actually find something.' "Naruto I'm back!"

N: "Oh hey Kurama!"

K: "What did you cook?"

N: "Oh just a wolf."

K: "Oh ok." 'No wonder that smells familiar.'

Kurama then sees the little fox and goes over to her.

K: "Hello there little one, what's your name?"

LF: (A/N: Only Kurama can hear her.) " My name is Scarlet."

K: "Nice to meet you Scarlet! Tell me, where are your parents?"

S: "My parents were killed by the wolf that the boy ate."

The fox, now known as Scarlet walked up to Kurama and laid down next to him.

K: "Scarlet, how would you like to be my kit?"

S: "Huh, you want me to be your kit?"

K: "Yes"

S: *Starts to tear up* "Do you really mean it?"

K: "Of course! I'll raise you and Naruto to the best of my ability!"

S: "Thank you!"

N: "What's going on over here?"

K: "Naruto meet Scarlet."

N: "Oh so that's her name."

K: *Looks at Scarlet* "This may feel weird but I assure you it's very safe."

Scarlet looked at him confused. She then felt something enter her body and surround her. This thing was Kurama's chakra.

N: *Worried for Scarlet* "Kurama what are you doing!?"

K: "I'm giving some of my chakra so she can talk and have many abilities."

N: "Oh ok."

When Kurama finished Scarlet felt different. She felt strong and powerful. She then looked at Kurama, as he was about to ask her a question.

K: "How do you feel Scarlet?"

S: (In english) "I feel strong!"

K: "Well that's good because you're going to be training with Naruto!"

S: "Okay"

N: "Cool!"
