38. No not again!!

Dev's POV

"Everyone knows your husband is known to be "The Devil!" So how is your life .. how it started for you ?? How it is going for you??"

That was it I looked at her .. hoping for some quick response like it is ok .. we are happy but she was quite !! 

Her silence was creating an awkward moment for me !!
I started hearing whispers all around the hall ...

I heard someone from the back...
"That's too much of a personal question to answer..."
"I think so he is still the beast to that beauty ... "
"That is the reason she was not coming out in public !!"
"He even didn't knew that his wife worked for him in his office!!"
"She also never shared about her husband ... Maybe she was ashamed !!"
"What if she was forced !? "
"I think there communication level is zero !! "
"Do you think a cold hearted beast like him can converse with love and affection !? "

I was literally getting heart broken...
I was never able to become her lover ... But she could have said something by now atleast for my sake .. my family's sake !!

I started ..
"Maybe we should ..."
When she cut me in middle!!
"Sorry to take up your time... Actually I was in loss words !!"
"Is it so bad that you have got no words to express it??"
I felt all colour of my face fading away..
"Actually there is nothing like that...
The man standing beside me is the one who is best in masking his emotions ...
He is just like a coconut hard from outside but soft and sweet from inside...
But that hard face of his only helped him to achieve so much success !!"

"I heard everything you all said whole I was thinking of words!!"
"So first of all !!
Yaa he is My Beast and I am glad to be his Beauty as I have a liking towards this Beast as he is mine and only mine!!
No that's not the reason .. actually I was not ready to give up my independence of moving freely so soon ... I mean like you all follow and stalk our every move to get something spicy for your article !! So yaa that's the reason!!!
And yaa the fact that I worked was known to him !!
And the communication between us is strong enough to understand each other without saying a word !!
So yaa I got a loving and caring husband !!"

I felt my heartbeat skip !!

"We have been married for a quite long time ... You can say enough to have our lovely one month old Devansh Dixit in our family !!"

She turned at me with wide eyes...
I gave her a tight lip smile ...
Hoping for her to remember the thing I said earlier ...

"Well we were unknown about the new member of Dixit's .. Congratulations mam and Sir !!"

"Th-Thank you!!"

"Ok so now we would like to go back home as we also need some rest and someone needs her mother before bed !! So excuse us ...
Thank you for joining us !!"

I said and walked out with Ritika and followed me were Arun and my family ...

The car ride was very smooth and silent !!

"You don't want to ask anything !??"
She nods her head in no ...
"Ok... Are you angry??"
She again nods her head in no...
I stopped the car after entering our villa...
And soon I was tailed along by my father mom and others...

"What was that ??"
"Who is Devansh ??"
"You kept the name without even telling me??"
"Bro what was that??"

I took a deep breath and narrated everything...
That I thought and everything that I felt for that Kid!!

I ran upstairs and even brought the papers on which the sign was needed...

"These are the papers ... I need your sign on these Rits please... I want Devansh to be a part of our family legally !!"

She took the papers from my hands gave me a teary eyed look...

She looked at everyone at tore the papers in half !!

Infront of my eyes!!

"Wh..wh.. what !??"
My eyes were boiling ..
"Why??"
I said being confused...

She turned towards Nitya...
"Give him your gift first and bring the thing I told you to keep !!"

"I am asking you something!??answer me dammit !!"
I said and smashed hand on the wall..
She came froward held me by my collar and just turned me down !!

I took a minute to register what happened !!

"I think so you forgot the warning again...??
Stay shut and wait for few minutes !!"
"And when Nitya comes with a Gift!! Accept it and wait for mine !!"

"We will talk about this topic later in our room!!"

She was over me with me ... While I was knocked down on the floor beneath her...
"Take a room if you don't mind bhai!!"
Nitya came in with a big cartoon!!

She was excited and happy...
"Open open it ...!!"
I got up dusted my dress...

Opened it to only find a cute little puppy !!

It was a German Shepherd !!!
I just love these breeds!!

I went and gave a bone crushing hug to Nitya ...

Soon I saw Ritika walking up to our room without giving me a glance...

I was sad with her behaviour ...
But she told me to wait ... I have to do that...

But gifting me Coco made my mood just blast !!
I  am very happy now...
I was rubbing and playing with him ..

I was about to leave when Dad called out for me...
"Dev!? aren't you forgetting something !???"
"N....nn...nope I guess!!"
"Oh really!!??"
Mom came forward with her hands crossed on her chest...

"Yaa... I think so..."
I turned to check over at Arun... as my habbit!!
Only to be reminded by my Dear brother that he and Suzan both took the evening off to attend something special together ....

"Well what about these pictures then !?? ",Mom said with a huff ...
And then the display of my pictures playing with Devansh was all over the hall!!
And it was me who was looking with eyes out of the sockets ...
Thinking how and what to answer ..
To my dear wifey !!
