You were the very intelligent and beautiful girlfriend of Newt Scamander, well...the secret girlfriend of Newt Scamander. You two started dating about 3 months ago and Newt oddly requested that you keep you love a secret, it was still oblivious as to why he had requested such a thing but you agreed. Having a secret relationship was quite a rush for you, the secret meetings in the library, the quick yet passionate kisses shared in private, it was quite fun but you wanted to hold his hand in front of his fellow Hufflepuffs to show them that Newt Scamander got Y/N the infamous Ravenclaw. It was past curfew as you snuck out to meet your lover in the cover of night. You entered the unlocked classroom he told you to meet him in. You shut the door behind you and looked over at the figure you loved so much. You ran to him and jumped in his arms, you heard a small chuckled escape his lips as you caught you.

"Careful Love" Your legs turned to jelly every time he called you that.

"I missed you" You whispered as you clung to his lean body.

"As did i" He smiled down at your small frame fitting perfectly within his embrace.

"Newt...I don't want us to be a secret anymore...I want people to know that I belong to you and you belong to me" You said pulling out of his warm arms, instantly wanting to be held by him again.

"Y/N...I can't" he sighed and sat on a near by desk.

"Why not Newt? Is it me?" You asked, worry taking over you.

"No Love..." He sighed and ran his fingers through his beautiful hair "It's me" he admitted looking at the ceiling.

"What the bloody hell are you talking about?" You asked, now confused.

"I mean that I am not good enough for you, you deserve some strong and brave Gryffindor...not a wimpy Hufflepuff like myself" That's what has been bothering him, he doesn't think he's right for you?

"You're an idiot Newt Scamander" You giggled. He looked at you extremely confused. You moved so you were in-between his legs as he sat on the table.

"I don't understand?" He asked looking at his gorgeous girlfriend, how very lucky he was to have you but he doesn't feel he's good enough for a girl like you.

"I love you Newt, for who you are. I don't want some stuck up Gryffindor I want my sweet, funny, kind and creature loving Scamander" You wrapped your arms around his neck and looked into his eyes. "I want everyone to know that Newt" He didn't say anything, he waited as you leaned in and stole his lips for a sweet kiss. He never made the first move, he was scared that maybe at the time you didn't want a kiss but really you never wanted to break away from his sweet lips. You belonged here, in his arms, your lips on his, at the moment you didn't care if people knew about you two or not, you knew and that's all you needed to be happy. He broke away to soon leaving you pouting at him. He smiled at your cute expression and took your hands in his.

"I love you Y/N and...I'm ready for people to know that" He smiled at you, you beamed at him.

"Tomorrow at breakfast, we walk into the hall hand in hand" You couldn't believe you were with him, you so glad you were.

You said you goodbyes and you gave Newt a goodnight kiss before walking back to the Ravenclaw common room. You snuck in and sigh in relief when you looked around and spotted not a single soul. You set off to your room and snuck in, making sure not to wake the other sleeping girls. You took your Ravenclaw robes off and settled into bed. You feel asleep with a smile on your face think of what tomorrow will hold.

You waited outside the Hufflepuff common room for Newt, it was no surprise to you that he was late. He stumble out with his robes messily thrown on and his tie undone. You let out a sigh and you smile at the goofy boy you call yours. You walk to him and do his tie up for him, you then raised up on your tiptoes and kissed his cheek. These actions cause him to turn bright red and few people to look at us in a confused manner.

"Much better" you smiled in a satisfied way and grabbed his hand leading him down to the hall.

When you entered you paused in the door way, practically everyone looked at both of you then your hands, clasped together with fingers intertwined. You could tell Newt was feeling nervous with all this attention on him. You walked with him to his table, all the Hufflepuff boys looked at Newt with disbelief. You just knew they would pick on him for being a nervous reck so you decided to give them something else to talk about. Once Newt let go of your hand and sat down with those damned Hufflepuffs you leaned down, grabbed his chin and turned his head to you, you made sure none of the professors were looking and crashed your lips on to Newt's in a very passionate yet loving way. When you pulled away there were quite a few wolf whistles heard through out the crowded hall. Newt looked like a lost puppy at this moment and it was completely adorable. Kissing him like that in public give you a rush and made you want to do it again...but you held yourself back.

"I'll see you later Darling" You smiled at him and pecked his cheek.

"U-Uh yes...S-See you then Love" He with a flustered look. You smiled and walked over to the Ravenclaw table. You sat down and were bombarded with many questions about you and Newt. You looked over at Newt to see a heap of boys had sat with him and were patting him on the back and giving him thumbs up. This felt right, being with newt felt absolutely right.
