Newt Scamander, the adorable creature loving Hufflepuff that stole your heart back at Hogwarts was standing right in front of you. What was he doing in New York City? The strawberry blonde magizoologist  stared at you in amazement.

"Y/N? Y/N L/N from Hogwarts?" He asked, staring closely at you as if he was inspecting you. You nodded quickly, smiling ear to ear.

"Newt Scamander, what are you doing here?" You smiled at the freckle faced man in front of you. Back at Hogwarts you fancied Newt and when he was expelled your eat as if your whole world came crashing down, the time spent without him was painfully slow...but here you are lost in his eyes once again.

"Creature business" He semi explained with a shy smile.

"Well...it's great to see you again but I have to get to work...maybe we can meet up for a drink when I finish" You looked at him full of hope, you want to know what he did after he left Hogwarts, you want to know what creatures he has found through out his journey, you want to know all about him.

"Sure Love, I hope to run into you soon" He smiled. You gave him a wave as you walked towards your work place.

You pulled you sore body up the stairs to your shared apartment. You live with your friend Queenie and her sister Tina. You unlock the door and shut it behind you.

"Ah! Y/N, you're finally home" The sweet voice of Queenie made you look towards the couch where there sat Newt.

"Ummmm...Tina?" You called out and she enters the room.

"What is it?" She asks, looking at you as you stare at Newt. "Oh, that is Newt Scam-"

"I know" You smile at Newt.

"You two know each other?" Tina asked now confused.

"Oh they know each other all right" Queenie said with a cheeky smirk. This cause both Newt and yourself to turn a dark shade of red.

"Would you quit that" You said with a slight glare.

Dinner was over and you had caught up with Newt slightly but you still wanted to know more. You noticed the absence of a certain Hufflepuff. In an attempt to find him you knocked on the door to his room. When there was no answer you slowly crept the door open only to find an empty room. Upon closer inspection you noticed his case wide open on the floor. You slowly approached it to find in lead down to something. Being the curious wizard you were you defended down into the case. Once at the bottom you found yourself in a shack. You looked around and took everything in, that when you noticed a door leading out somewhere, curiosity getting the better of you once again, you reached for the handle, but then heard the faint voice of Newt. Who or...what was he talking to? You pushed open the door and you jaw dropped. It was huge, Newt's case was like it's own little world, full of Creatures in enclosures and a very busy looking newt caring for something that looked like a Occamy. You were going to approach him when you saw a creature you had never seen before. You walked towards the enclosure and slowly approached the beast, you reached your hand out and the beat tilted it head at it and slowly crept towards you. You felt two arm fall around you waist.

"Don't hurt her" He warned the beast, slowly pulled you away and out of the enclosure.

"What was that Newt?" You asked still shocked at the feeling that being in Newt's arms gave you.

"That was Frank, a thunderbird I rescued from Egypt" Newt explained.

"He's beautiful" You stated looking back at the beast.

"Here, Hold Pickett for a minute" Newt handed you a bow truckle that looked like it really didn't want to leave him...who would want to leave Newt. The little creature looked up at you with a scared face.

"Hello there Pickett, I'm Y/N" You introduced yourself in your softest voice, this seemed to calm to creature as his little expression relaxed. You decided to see you could calm him further by humming him soft tune. This caused Pickett the crawl up you should and cuddle into your neck, and cover himself behind your hair. What you didn't realise was Newt was watching you with awe flooding his eyes and a sweet smile placed on his face.

"He must like you" He said, grabbing your attention.

"You have so many creatures Newt...You've been busy" You smiled.

"Well, I suppose" He said with a sly smile.

"I missed you when you left" You admitted.

"I missed you also" He said looking at you. You walked up to him and wrapped you arms around his torso.

"You'll keep in contact now won't you?" You asked looking up at him. He hesitantly placed his arms around your waist.

"I'd love if you came with me" He admitted with a slight redness forming under his freckles.

"I have a job here Newt" You said with disappointment, you would love to go with him but it would be difficult with work and leaving Queenie and Tina behind.

"You can help me care for the creatures, we can continue travelling the world, finding more creatures" There was that spark in his eyes that you missed so dearly, when he was excited his eyes would light up.

"Newt...before i make my decision there is something I must tell you"

"What is it Love?" He asked, his head tilted slightly.

"Ever since day one I've had these unbearably strong feelings towards you, not just of friendship but of more and I was always to scared to confess to you but I feel that now you should know" You had pushed all you anxiety and fears aside to tell him that. He looked at you with complete shock.

"Y/N...I have always felt the same towards you, I found it hard to show you and when I left Hogwarts I knew I had to let go of those feelings because I believed i would ever see you again...but now...now I'll make sure to never let you go again" There it was again, that glint in his eyes, he was serious about this. You took your chances and leaned up. His sweet lips were everything you had imagined they would be, soft, gentle and all so addicting.

"I'll follow you anywhere you go Newt" you whispered once you pulled apart. He rested is forehead against yours and you smiled at each other.

"That's all I've ever wanted Love"
