Once you got a taste of those sweet, kissable lips you were hooked, you never wanted to let go of them. The sweet sensation soon left, the cool air stuck to the wet saliva now coating you lips.

"How was that?" The voice of the boy you loved, his sweet, caring voice, the voice you wanted to hear first thing in the morning and the last voice you wanted to hear at night, the voice you wanted to hear say the three words you long to make escape him. You wanted him, but he wanted another.

"U-Uh...it was great, you'll be fine buddy" you said looking anywhere but those enchanting eyes. Cedric Diggory, the boy who stole you heart on day one, was using you, his best friend, to practice his kissing skills ready to blow Cho away. He didn't know your feelings and he never would, you'd make sure of it.

"I hope I'm good enough for her" He sighed flopping back on the mat you two were sitting on in the Hufflepuff common room.
"You are Cedric...Are you nervous for the second trial?" you asked changing the subject.

"A little bit, I need to collect something important to me...I just wonder what it is" He said looking at the ceiling.

"Who knows" you said with a shrug. Your stomach was still buzzing after that make-out, how can he be so casual after that. He moved so his head was resting on your lap, it's times like this where you think he could return you feelings but then Cho floods your mind. You run your hand through his hair and he sighs in content.

"You'll be there to watch won't you?" He asked, keeping his eyes closed.

"Of course I will be" You smiled down at him.

"Promise?" He asked, opening his eyes and sticking his pinky out. You rolled my eyes at his childishness.

"Promise." You said linking your pinky with his.

You were called to lake before the champions, to say you were confused is an understatement. You could see Hermione and Ron walking just ahead of you. One second you were wondering what the bloody hell was going on then all that you could feel was a cold embrace. After what felt like forever you gasped for air. You were in the lake enclosed in Cedric's protective embrace. You looked up and saw Cho glaring at you. That's when you picked up on what's going on, the something Cedric was talking about was a someone and you were the one dearest to him. Cedric and you swam in and Cedric pushed you up first. When you were up and out of the freezing water towels were thrown over you to keep you warm, Cedric added some of his towels to you to be positive you were warm. When everyone was back it was announced that Cedric had won and Harry had come last but because he saved two people he was moved to 2nd place. You jumped on Cedric and engulfed him in a tight embrace.

"You did it, you won" You whispered and felt his soft lips place a small kiss on your neck.

"When you weren't there to watch me I knew the task had something to do with you so I had to do my absolute best to find you, I didn't care if I lost, as long as you were safe...and you are" He mumbled into your neck. He was worried about you, you could tell by the tone of his voice that he was terrified...terrified of losing you? You blushed deeply and placed a kiss to his temple. That night you and Cedric cuddled up on the floor in front of the fire in the Hufflepuff common room. He held you from behind with his face buried in your hair.

"You won Ced...I can't believe it" you smiled and turned so you were facing each other. He groaned as if he wanted the warmth he just lost.

"Can we stop talking about the tournament" he sighed and leaned back against the couch behind him.

"Why? Aren't you happy you won?" you asked, concern by his behaviour.

"I am but they used you as the objective" He said looking at you.

"Why didn't they use Cho?" You asked, you had been asking yourself this question ever since Cedric pulled you out of the water. A light blushed formed on his cheeks.

"Because you're more important to me than she is" He said looking at the fire.

"I don't understand" You said playing with hem of Cedric's blanket he forced on you so you'd stayed warm.

"After that kiss we shared, thoughts started flooding my mind, how it would feel to hold you all the time, how long we've known each other and for how long i've pushed my feeling away to save our friendship"

"Cedric...What are you saying?" You asked, is he...confessing?

"I have terribly strong feelings for you Y/N...but i could never tell you because i didn't want to ruin our friendship but that kiss-that kiss changed everything, I wanted to do it more, everyday...I wanted you and i can understand if you only see me as a friend and probably don't want to be my friend after this but i can't hide how i feel anymore" He confessed, now looking deep into my eyes.

"Cedric..." You grabbed his face in your hands and looked him dead in the eyes. "I feel the exact some way" You pulled him down and kissed him with every bit of love you had for and he returned with just as much. This kiss was ten times better then the last kiss you shared. He pulled away from you way soon causing you to whine, He chuckled at your cute expression.

"Will you be mine Y/N?" He asked, hope fillings his beautiful orbs.

"You don't even need to ask" You kissed him again.
