"Hey no fair! I want to play too!" The little girl stomped her foot and pouted. Her big brother ran over to her and hugged her. She was surprised and tilted her head, her black braids resting on her small shoulders.

He giggled, telling her, "of course you can play!" He smiled warmly and she hugged him back, smiling.

An older boy ran over and stood between them. "No she can't." He grabbed the other boy's hand and started to lead him away.

"But why?" She whined. "I wanna play with big brother too!" She blocked his path. Her big, green bow stood firmly on her head. Her large emerald eyes seemed to be filled with emotion.

The older boy hesitated before wrapping his arms around the younger boy protectively. The younger boy blushed and looked up to the other's face. "Because I'm the oldest and I said so!" His face was red and he scowled at the little girl.

She stood there and felt her anger dissipate. Her eyes widened but a smile crept onto her face. She clasped her hands together and beamed. "Okay! I get it! Naka-kun likes big brother!" The two boys flinched and both their faces reddened. "Take good care of big brother, Naka-kun!" She skipped off in the direction of her house, a small furret on the fence.

She was snapped out of her thoughts by her door closing. A smirk crept onto her face as she spun around to greet the person in front of her bedroom door. Her large green bow sat on her head. "Brother." Her eyes showed she was awaiting an answer.

"Sister." He responded and stood there. She walked closer and dropped the balls into his hands. Then she led him to her bed where he sat down. Pulling out her chair, she sat opposite him. He sighed. "What do you want to know?"

She leaned back slightly. "Well mainly what's got you so worked up." She gave him a concerned look. "You've been somewhat quiet and hostile lately." Her expression turned serious. "Is it May's new girlfriend?"

"No." She relaxed somewhat. "Blaze," he spat the name out. She tensed up. He grit his teeth as he continued. "I bumped into him in Lilycove with Wally and Brendan." He paused. "He was talking with Sam." She stood up and sat next to him. "I got so angry I threw a can at him." His knuckles turned white from gripping the bed sheets so tightly. He had his head down, refusing to meet her eyes. "I know, it's pathetic." She hugged him and he hugged her back.

"No, no. It's not pathetic." She felt nothing come from her sibling. He didn't speak or move. "It's okay, he did some bad things to you." She pulled him up and he followed her to the living room.

Two adults were sitting at the table conversing. One was a woman, the other a man. The woman had shimmering blue eyes with her black hair loosely tied. They both looked up to see the pair of teenagers. She gestured for them to sit. They did so and everyone still stayed silent.

"Eon's a little out of it, can we have some brunch please?" The woman nodded and grabbed two plates out before setting some food on them. "Anything new?" She turned to her father who sighed, he gestured for Eon to leave and he did so.

"Well, your mother and I are thinking of maybe going to another region." He told them, emerald eyes fixed on her. The woman placed the plate in front of her daughter and carried the other plate out of the room.

"Again? Where to?" Nova stabbed her food.

"We're visiting the Nakamuras." Nova scowled at him and he seemed unsurprised. "They're practically like family and we haven't talked in a while."

"Well I don't want to see the Nakamuras! Their son is horrible." Nova huffed and pushed her plate away.

"You have a few days. Their son should be in the region, and we'll talk to them about it if they want to come over instead." She slammed her hands on the table.
