Wally stretched and walked downstairs. His parents were waiting at the table and greeted him as he sat down. In front of him was a plate with some toast and eggs. He smiled groggily and ate them. A mewling feline rushed down the stairs and sat beside her trainer. Stretching, she brushed against his leg affectionately - this earning her a pat on the head from Wally.

"I'll be done in a moment Kit," he giggled. She nodded in understanding and made her way to the window. Kit sat there, watching the people pass by the hedges in the garden. Her tail swished as she watched with interest. A few minutes came and went, then Wally came over after putting his dishes in the sink and picked her up.

"Del?" She tilted her head as he brought her over to the table and placed her on it. "Caaaaat?" He then put a bowl of pokemon food in front of her. Eyes widening, she beamed and ate the pellets happily. She quickly finished and watched as he came down the stairs, now dressed. Kit leapt to the floor and accompanied him as he bid farewell to his parents and left the house.

She knew exactly where they were going, and still felt the uneasiness and anxiety from her trainer. He'd never seemed to fully forgive the words that were yelled on that day. But at least he was okay now, and wasn't enemies with Ikara's trainer. That would be bad. She'd never get to see and play with Ikara again. Just like how Azure was distanced from Flare. All the pokemon seemed to wonder what had happened, but she was getting side-tracked. She needed to focus on calming her trainer right now. So she turned and spoke, "Dell delcat catty?"

He looked down and stopped. "Come here, Kit." He held out his arms and she leapt into them - lying comfortably in his grasp. "I guess you picked up on my nerves." The delcatty simply nodded as they continued forward. He sighed. "You know me pretty well, huh?" He smiled softly, and she purred in response, thinking back to her first encounter with her trainer.

"Skiii! Skiii!" The little feline cried out for her mother. She still looked around rather worried, too distracted to notice the human approaching her. She bumped into the towering creature and started to hiss. "Ssssssskiiiiii!" But the human merely got to her knees and rubbed her head.

"Where's your mother, little kitten?" The skitty looked up and started to cry. The girl seemed alarmed and worried, swiftly picking her up and rocking her. "No no, don't cry. It's okay. I'm here."

A little boy walked over to her. "Wanda?" He yawned and rubbed his eyes. "What's that?"

"Wally?!" She frowned. "What're you doing out here? It's late!" She loudly whispered.

"I couldn't sleep, so I looked for you." He yawned again and hugged her.

Wanda glanced at him with pity. "Oh alright, but you shouldn't do this. You head in, I'll be right behind you."

He pouted and replied, "no you won't. You always take a long time." They both giggled.

"Okay okay, you're right. However, I need to take care of this little skitty." She turned back to the pokemon in her arms. "She seems lost and alone."

He reached up and took the skitty, then placed it on his lap as he sat down. "Hey there." She mewled back. "I always feel alone when my parents aren't home. But it's okay, because I always find new friends to talk to - like my cousin Wanda!" The little feline listened with great interest. "She always cheers me up, after all. We could try to help find your mother tomorrow, if you want! So could you please be my new friend?" The little pokemon looked up at his wide smile. She purred and nuzzled his shirt.

"Here." She gave him a pokeball and he held it out.

"Kit kittyyyyyy!" She purred and pushed the button. A flash of red engulfed her and then the ball shook. It dinged and sparkled. She came out then nuzzled his leg.
