Waffle and pancake scents travelled into the greenette's room, causing the cloud-dragon on his bed to chirp happily. Wally looked up from his pokenav and smiled tiredly at the bird as he lay stomach-down on his bed. Alto flapped his wings and flew towards a quiet gardevoir, immediately catching his attention. He lifted his hands and a pink glow encased them and the bird, stopping Alto in his tracks. Kishi used Psychic. Kit giggled as the bird struggled and huffed. Cyclops the magneton sighed as they watched, while Tulip the roselia inspected his roses and appearance.
Wally sighed but kept his eyes on the device as he spoke, "Kishi let him go." He stared intensely at the screen.
The psychic-type grumbled slightly, before dropping the large dragon-type and watching him fall to the floor with a thud. Alto looked up at him and let his eyes start to water. Sensing the altaria's distress, he sighed and picked up the fluffy bird.
Wally finally looked up and noticed how cramped his room felt. "Why don't you all head downstairs? I'm sure mum's getting breakfast ready."
Kishi gave a small nod to his trainer before turning to the other pokemon. "Voir." The others understood and followed him downstairs, except for Kit. Wally quickly turned back to his pokenav.
She padded over to her trainer and sat by him. "Dellll?" Kit purred as she looked at him.
Placing the device down, he turned to her and smiled. He pet her head softly as he told her, "I'm okay, Kit. I'm just a little tired is all."
She frowned and placed a paw on her trainer's cheek. Kit mewled solemnly, as she felt her paw pads dampen. "Tyy..."
When he noticed he sat up and pulled the feline into a hug. "I'm sorry I lied." She purred in response. "I just," he hesitated and took a shaky breath, "I just don't want to worry you." She nodded in understanding. "...I miss him. A lot. More than I thought I would." She only purred whilst she continued to listen. "At this point I'm starting to wonder if I'm-"
"WALLY GREENE!" There was a loud yell from downstairs. He recognised the voice of his mother clearly. Unfortunately, Kit seemed to have been rather startled by his mother's yell. "COME HAVE YOUR BREAKFAST OR I'LL FEED IT TO YOUR DRAGON BIRD!" He chuckled slightly and stood up, still holding the delcatty tightly.
"C-coming!" A smile etched its way onto his lips. 'He won't feel the same way, will he.' He held back the tears that beaded in his eyes. 'Of course not.'

Sam and May held hands as they chattered on and on, the greenette walking behind them. The two girls seemed to have forgotten his existence in their conversations and lovey-dovey actions.
He sighed then grumbled as he remembered why he was here. "We'll cheer you up! They said. Come with us! They said," he hissed under his breath and rubbed his tired eyes. He yawned and still glared at the girls. People they passed complimented and smiled at the couple, only making Wally feel more ignored. Furthermore, he heard some people snicker and make comments on him.
Kit wasn't out due to the girls' demands of the pokemon needing to rest, which left him with no one to turn to. He shoved his hand into his bag and pulled out a packet of pocky he'd bought recently. It only made him feel worse; he remembered Brendan and seemed to sulk further.
Wally eyed the store they passed briefly, noticing two luvdisc keychains that matched. "What a perfect item for these two wurmples!" He grumbled in realisation of who the voice in his head sounded like. It pestered him again, "yet, why not get it, yourself, Ralts-boy? You know for your lovely-" he shook his head, dismissing the thought as his face started to heat up.
