•Eric Cartman•
.
"Merry Christmas!", "Happy new year!", "How are you going to spend the night?"
That were the words he heard all the time. Words that, normally, wouldn't bother him...but for that year, everything hit him differently.
He felt..."empty".<<I couldn't give a shit about Christmas...>>
Said softly to himself while walking at sunset time on the snowy streets of South Park.
Hands in his pockets and eyes looking at nothing in particular, he entered in his house.
Then, he just closed the door sighing.
He took a look around...alone in that big house, place that he couldn't recognise as his anymore; yet, he lived there.
He turned on the heat, holding a picture and started talking.
<<Y'know, mom...I don't blame you for leaving me alone. But also I would like to know...>> murmured with a trembling voice <<...I would like to know how it's going, if you feel better without me.>>"I should stop being a dick head, I'm just ridiculous...", he thought. And who he wanted to make fun of? How could he believe that someone still cares for him? Even Butters left him, maybe the one who were always by his side, no matter what.
Eric Cartman was alone and there was nothing he could do; he would spend that Christmas by himself and no one else. The sun finally went down. It was probably dinner time.
He wouldn't even eat like he always did...and honestly, he wasn't hungry either.
Food? No time to think about that. It was the last of his thoughts.
Time passed so damn fast.
Everything that Eric did was staying on the sofa, staring at the TV. Well... actually there was nothing interesting to watch.Almost midnight, only ten minutes left for that painful 25th December.
Minutes flew too fast for his liking...and pain just grew up harder and harder.
One minute left...he saw another picture about him, Kyle, Stan and Kenny when they were children.
And all of them were smiling.
Friends? Lost them too; or probably, he never really had them.Midnight, a moment of pure melancholy.
He held that picture with the boys, literally hugging it while sitting on the floor...sooner, he started crying.
He cried for the horrible person he was, for all the bad things he did...because now he has no one but himself.
All that repressed emotions hit him so hard...he felt so damn bad and he couldn't handle it anymore.
What could he do? It was too late...<<Jerk, jerk, fucking jerk...!>> said screaming; that was all that he could say to himself. Eric really was a jerk.
But changes...true changes come from the heart. Only him could end the past to make the present better.
He stopped crying...he would fight to show everyone that he really changed.
Eric finally got up, putting the picture on the wall, where it was before.
Then he sat at the table, taking letters and writing...to Stan, to Kyle, to Kenny, to Butters, to his mother...to every person he hurt. While sighing, he smiled.
It was time to be happy again..
A/N: I don't know why about Eric...he is a very "particular" character (one of my favourites tho), but I found interesting the idea of him changing, wanting to become a better person.
I write for passion and fun, even if I think I'm not *that* good lol.
But I really hope you enjoyed!
If you are reading: thanks, I appreciate!
I really tried my best.
See you soon with another one-shot!-Cloud
