AN: this is based off S1 E1 of greys anatomy!

—- (Emily's POV)

I wake up with a guy next to me, the hell? From the bar last night I assume. He is hot, not going to complain, but it's my first day on a new job and I didn't want to be late. That's not what you want to be on your first day, late, bad impression.

Instead, I decide to wake him up. So grabbing a sheet and wrapping it around myself, I stand up and then slap a pillow from the couch on his bare ass.

"Hmmmm" he groans. Lazily opening his eyes, he finally realizes where he is.

"Oh shit, sorry about that."

"It's ok, um-" Crap! I can't even remember his name!

"Aaron, but most people call me Hotch."

"Hotch?"

"My last name is Hotchner, E-Em?"

"-ily" I finish the sentence for him. "I should get going, it's my first day at work. I don't want to be late"

"Of course not, good luck at the new job!"

"Your not going to ask what I do?"

"Well I didn't know if you were that type of person just to say where they are going to work to a guy she woke up with after meeting at the bar...anyways what do you do?"

"I don't know how to explain it to someone, it's like FBI but not? You?"

"I work with the government also! I'm also something that you don't exactly make sense if you explain."

"Cool! Um- I'm gonna go shower, and so I'm not later than I probably already am, you should probably go, help yourself to water or food if you want though."

I can't believe it, first day, and I'm already almost late. For the BAU of the FBI. It's a huge honor to get the job, I can't mess it up.

Running into my bathroom, I quickly get into the shower and rinse my hair. It takes me a few minutes to wash my body, and then I am out. I put my hair up in a pony tail, letting it air dry. Well I also don't have any other options.

Seeing that the Hotch guy left, I leave also. Hopping into my car, I punch in directions to the FBI headquarters, Quantico Virginia and almost speed there. Arriving, I can't believe this is my life now, my dream finally happening.
"Do you have an ID miss?" the gate guard asks me.
"Yes here," I say pulling my drivers license out of my purse.

He looks it over and looks at some list, probably saying I'm new but to let me through.
"Know where your going?"
"Not exactly, no"
"So over there," he begins pointing "is parking. And then you see the doors? There's a box on the side, that's for your fingerprint to further identify you. Then inside the concierge per se, checks your ID one more time and allows you to the elevators."
"Oh wow that's a lot, thanks."
"Once you get known around here, work here for a while the concierge recognizes you, so you can just flash your badge and they'll see, so you don't have to go up and wait and all that."

Soon, I realize this place has a lot of security. Well, of course it does, it's the literal FBI. A thumbprint to open the door, then the front desk to confirm your identity.

Walking in, the front desk guy perks up. Probably hasn't had anyone new in a while.

"Do you need help?"
"Yes please, I'm Agent Emily Prentiss, I'm new here to the BAU."

"Oh your the new agent! Welcome! Still gotta ask for your ID."

Handing it over once again, I begin to realize this is really happening. I'm at the FBI, about to start work for the BAU. The BAU.

"Know where your going?"
"Kinda, the gate guard said you'll point me to the elevators?"
"Yes, so they are right over there. The BAU is on the 6th floor. As you work here, you won't even know your learning what the other floors are. The main room where you will be is literally straight out of the elevator. The other hallways, you'll get over time."

"Thanks so much" I reply, and proceed to scurry off to the elevators. I still had 5 minutes to get up there, but I was always taught be early otherwise your late.

After what feels like forever, the elevator doors chime and my eyes lay on the main room with what looks like a second floor that wraps around two sides you could say? People are moving all around, talking to each other, trading papers, etc.

How am I going to find my team?

I finally get the courage to walk in and a few people look, because they don't recognize me, of course. That's ok though. Everyone looks at the new kid.

Spotting a woman sitting at her desk that isn't talking to someone on the phone or physically, I decide she's my best shot at finding where I'm supposed to go within here.

"Excuse me?" I approach.
"Hi, how can I help?"
"I'm Agent Emily Prentiss, I'm supposed to start with the BAU today. I'm supposed to find the boss guy, but I don't know which room that is here."
"Omg Emily Prentiss! Hi, I'm Jennifer Jareau, but you can call me JJ. Your on the team I'm on actually, so this works out perfect! Aaron's office is that door right up there." she points up to a door, and I see the blinds semi closed with a little glare.
"Thanks! I'll see you soon I guess then."

Wait, Emily. Stop. Aaron? Could it be, the Aaron from the bar? No, it can't be. Too much of a coincidence.

Or is it?

Finally reaching the door, I see nameplates on them. These must be the higher-ups. Like team leader people. But then I see it. The name tag.

Aaron Hotchner
  Team Leader

You've got to be kidding, nope. Has to be another. This would be so embarrassing.

Knocking, I hear a "come in" from inside. Probably used to people he knows walking in.

I walk inside and my eyes go as big as they've ever gotten. It's him. Bar guy.

"Um- I- I'm the new agent..." I stumble, because not even 12 hours ago was I having sex with this guy.

"Em-Emily, your Emily Prentiss, I didn't connect the dots- your the girl from the bar last night-"

"Yep, that's me."
