Y/N POV

It was a lazy afternoon at Beacon, the sun was still shining through the windows of the library. JNPR was over at a table, Pyrrha was studying, Jaune was reading a comic book, Nora was sleeping, and Ren was also studying. Team RWBY was playing World Conquerer 2 at their table. I was looking through a book about rocket propulsion and modifying my jetpack plan accordingly, Ravio was re-organizing the files on his scroll, Angelo seemed to be planning something, and Carroll was nowhere to be found. It was peaceful for a little while until Carroll came running in excited.

"Hey fellas, listen!" He yelled to us.

"What is it?" Ravio asks without looking up.

"General Ironwood, he's here!" Carroll replies pulling up a picture of him from his scroll.

We all crowd around him and see that indeed that damned general was here.

"You know what this means right?" Carroll says putting away his scroll.

"I'll go get the paints!" Ravio yells gleefully.

"I'll check out security." I reply.

"I guess I'll provide air coverage." Angelo adds

"Alright, operation albatross is a go!" Carroll yells excitedly.

He fist pumps the air and we all get ready, unbeknownst to us Weiss was listening in.

"What are you dunces up to this time?" Weiss asks.

"We're going off to vandalize Ironwood's stuff, you wanna come?" I ask.

"Are you trying to get yourself killed?" She asks.

"Possibly." I reply.

"You four seem to have this seething hatred for Atlas, what gives?" Weiss asks.

You don't know the half of it snowflake

All four of us turned around to face her.

"They bombed my home town of Jedha, there are still bombs there to this day." Ravio replied.

"Those robots burnt down our homestead which had stood for centuries." Carroll adds.

"They sieged Kansu for 3 years, we didn't even have soldiers," I add.

"I'm a Faunas," Angelo says.

"That's just the surface level stuff, so I'm sorry that we don't like the great Atlas so much snowflake." Carroll says.

Too baffled to reply, she just walks back to her table. I don't think she even knew about what Atlas had done to Mistral all those years ago, I don't blame her either, not something you'd want to teach the kiddies in school, we lived it though, we had to live in a place which had been torn apart at the seams by the war. Sure it was recovering, but some scars never heal.
