MAE AND MIKE SCOUR THROUGH ITEMS ON THE SHELVES, both siblings holding their own shopping bags. mike picks up a book, flipping it open to read a few of its contents. the ravenette presses her lips together, unable to distract herself from the constant vibration of her phone.

she has decided to ignore her phone for a while.

it was saturday, and every saturday mae doesn't go online. it is a free day for her to live her life outside of the internet. though she isn't feeling well today. even with being already used to her mother's comments, it still leaves a wound that she can't ignore. mike joins his sister, who was in the toys section due to her comfort in toys.

"you okay?"

"no, i feel like shit" mae replies sarcastically, placing back a cat plush toy onto the shelf.

"what's up"

they start walking towards the cashier to pay for the items mike has chosen, with mae empty-handed. "you know the usual, but my phone... my notifications is noisier than usual," she glances back at her bag.

"your notifications are always a mess, how noisy is too noisy?"

"super noisy"

mike lets out a hum, placing the things down onto the desk. the ravenette ambles away after softly saying "i'll wait for you outside."

the more her phone continued to vibrate notifications, the more curious she becomes. the notifications tend to just be twitter tags or spam messages, she enjoys going through the tags and interact with her fans, unless it is just some creepy tweet.

her baby-blue orbs wander around the mall, it's as crowded as usual. the people ranging from couples, friends, families, children, and many more. her chest sunk at the number of people, she doesn't feel comfortable being alone out here.
