as he was about to close everything and shut off his pc to finally get some shut eye, he receives a notification from a certain somebody.
"congrats"
"i thought.. you're going to the actual winners?"
"i greeted them already" bunidoll snickers.

"you sound so tiredd, sorry if i disturbed you"
"nahh, me? tired? when"
"shut up quackity, you should rest wellㅡ in a bit!"
he raises a brow with a curious look, "in a bit?"
"wait! i'll dm the others.. and captain sparkles"
"a surprise? a gift? for losing? geez thanks for the pity" the male jokes, leaning back onto his chair.

a notification echoed but quackity didn't have the energy left to check who it is. though he is so drained from the adrenaline, something about this just seemed worth it.
