Basically, Junko uses and sets up the Neo World Program each year to send despair to the world. She kidnaps 16 students with SHSL talent and puts them into a terrible dream forcefully that everyone will never forget. Out of the 16 she only chooses one to broadcast everything to on tv which is the protagonists ofc so everything outsiders watching have seen is what Shuichi would see for example. Besides stuff like showering of course. 4 years ago it started with THH, then the next SDR, and to try something new she planned UDG, but that wasn't as despair inducing as the others so she went back to the original plan with DRV3. I shouldn't say much more yet, I things planned for this, so stay tuned please!
