My eyes fluttered open to see no one. Yuri and mayuko were both gone. D-did they leave me? Turning to my side I found a backpack with food and a handgun. Food!. I rummaged through the bag pulling out two f/s and a f/d. Even though they left me im glad they left me something.

After eating I grabbed my things and continued on with my journey if that's what you can even call it. I still cant believe this is all real...that man..he's dead. That blood on his bat uh I don't think that was his. Was it?

After my little pass out session and mini food break I feel great! I thought about the gun in my backpack. Its okay dad I didn't forget how to use a gun. I guess it's finally gonna be of use. I was snapped out of my thoughts by approaching footsteps. With no hesitation I pulled out my gun, with a deep breath I got out from my spot and shot a mask right in the head!

I felt so proud of myself and relieved. Well that was easy. Observing the now dead body I realized that this masked guy was different! What the?... The expression was different almost like a meh face. I looked down to see what was what looked like a white box.

Cautiously I opened the box. It was another mask? Jesus what is with this place and masks? It was blank though with only the eyes cut out. I flipped it over and it was like a panel with all kinds of circuits and stuff. For shits and giggles I put it on but was in for a shock, literally. When I put the mask on there was this voice informing me in on everything. Like how the mas-I mean "angels" are meant to cause us despair or how this is a kill or be killed world and something about a god?

To think this place couldn't get any weirder. As soon as I snapped back I heard a gunshot. A very familiar sound. As I turned towards the sound the voice from earlier said "ability unlocked". As if my body moved on its own I dodged the bullet and was now all the way across the hallway face to face with a mask. He was wearing a suit and was wearing a mask. I tackled him to the floor aiming my gun to his head.

I stopped midway because of a squeal, it was a girl? There was a girl with blue hair and pink highlights she was shaking and looking at me surprised. "P-please don't shoot Mr. Mask! H-he's good I promise!". I didn't know if it was a trap or not but this was a chance I was willing to take.

I got up still mad dogging the mask in front of me. He dusted himself off. I expected him to get mad at me but I was surprisingly wrong. He lit a cigarette and blew the smoke away from us. "Sorry I thought you were a mask". I half smiled and nodded still a bit suspicious. I turned to the small girl in front of me. She flinched as I reached out to shake her hand. "It's alright im friendly. I apologize as well, I just didn't think there were non hostile masks."

The girl seemed to relax, she pushed my hand away and hugged me. "ITS SO NICE TO HAVE ANOTHER GIRL TO TALK TO!!" I nervously chuckled and looked at the mask who was now staring at me. I was a bit freaked out for sure but he hasn't tried to kill me after the fact he tried to kill me 5 minutes ago so I just let it slide and stared back at him.

I aimed my rifle at the mask ahead but before I knew it I was face to face with the girl from the rooftop yesterday. Its her? I was surprised she made it this far on her own. Let alone she managed to get the upper hand on me! How did she get so fast?! In the blink of an eye her pistol was now against my head. Her knee burrowing into my side causing me to wince in pain.

If it weren't for kuon this probably would've been my last moment. Kuon explained everything. Of course the girl looked at me like that was all bullshit. I couldn't help but just stare at her. I actually kinda zoned out thinking about how different she seemed now and how pretty she is close up.

Wait pretty? I snapped out of my small trance only to be an inch away from the girl's face. She was just staring at me. Of course I jumped back. "Why were you so close to me?" She casually smiled with a hint of mischief and replied," sorry I thought we were having a staring contest. I won by the way". I scoffed in amusement while kuon was dumbfounded. After we all introduced ourselves we decided to team up to find those two girls that almost blew me up. Turns out y/n already bumped into them.

"They were heading to the east buildings last time I bumped into them but I don't know where they are now." Y/n mumbled "because they ditched me". I almost chuckled at her small salty mumble.

Kuon as usual stayed very close to me while y/n was ahead and radiating confidence. I guess kuon noticed my distraction and walked up to y/n grabbing her wrist. "Ms. Y/n! We hardly know anything about yo-" Y/n noticeably flinched and snatched her hand back from kuon.

Kuon was confused but bowed apologetically. "I-Im sorry ms. Y/n! Did I squeeze you too hard?! Here let me see. Y/n seemed hesitant but I was also concerned now. Without saying anything I grabbed y/n's sleeve and gently rolled it up. I sighed and looked away for a second. Kuon gasped in shock and sadness, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Guys its really nothing im fine really." Kuon frowned and held y/n's other hand. "W-we have to do something mr mask! Can't we clean it or something? She's bleeding!". I thought for a moment. "My room is just a floor above. Once we get there we can patch y/n up and rest a bit."

I looked over at y/n her e/c eyes no longer had that shine. Once again without thinking I grabbed her hand and raised it to my lips but my mask interfered. Y/n and kuon's eyes sparkled. Kuon was all giddy," aw mr mask that was so sweet!" I felt my face heat up under my mask. I cleared my throat and began walking again with the two girls following beside me.
