Shin would sometimes get nightmares of Midori and Alice would wake up to Shin crying and he attempts to comfort his boyfriend. This comes in hugging, kisses, whispering sweet nothings, and reassuring Shin that he would never leave him and be by his side forever. When Shin calms down from crying, Alice would ask if he wants a midnight snack and/or a drink of water. He would sometimes say yes but sometimes say no.

Muffled crying noises were heard across Alishin's bedroom. It was 2 am and the sobbing grew a tiny bit loud, but gotten lower. The noises kept escalating from being loud then silent. It was a weird night indeed.

Alice was sleeping until he was awaken by continuing small sobs. He gets up and looks over to see his partner, Shin Tsukimi, crying while sleeping. A wave of worry came over him as he shook his partner awake.

"Shin! Wake up..!" Alice said while rocking shin's body back and fourth.

Due by the rocking, Shin got up from the bed, panicking and sweating. The tears from his eyes earlier were going down his cheeks. He looks at Alice then at himself, looking at his palms and attempting to calm down.

Alice shook his head and brang Shin into his embrace, which resulted in him breaking down more. He started to shh him and stroke his back to calm him down.

"Shin, babe..." Alice whispers in Shin's ear. "Are you okay? You were crying as you're sleeping."

"Mmmm..." Shin hiccuped. "I-I had a dream about Midori again..."

Alice's hands became clenched. He knew how much Midori has hurt him and how much he affected Shin ever since he died. The memories weren't even good to remember, why would Shin think of him? During the quiet moment, well not quiet since his boyfriend was quietly sobbing.

"P-please don't leave me..." Shin sobbed to break the silence. "I don't want you to leave me like him..."

Alice hugged him even tighter. "It's okay babe. I won't ever leave you. I'm staying by your side forever... I love you a lot. If we ever have a second life, I'm going to search for you."

He grabs his partner's face to wipe off the tears from his eyes, giving him a heartwarming smile while at it. He also stroked his back and whispered sweet nothings in Shin's ear to make him feel better.

"Did you know you're my one and only... darling... Sweetie... My cute beanie man... Adorable... My angel..." Alice whispered in Shin's ears, making him blush a bit in return.

"Allliceee..." Shin looked at him. "You need to compliment yourself as well."

He laughed. "Why would I compliment myself when a whole cutie is with me? I'm a whole 9/10 but when I'm with you, you're the one I need."

Shin looks at Alice with a disbelief but started giggling a little, showing Alice his dimples. "Gosh, I hate your flirting so much but I also love it."

Alice smiled and gave a peck on Shin's forehead, ruffling his teal hair while at it. "Glad you love them."

Shin playfully smacked his boyfriend in the chest and

"Do you need anything babe? Fast food, snacks, water?" He looks at his partner, stroking his hair.

"Mmmm.. I don't think I need any food but I do feel thirsty." Shin looks at Alice. "... But I can get the water for mysel--"

"I'm getting water for you." Alice cut him off and went out of the bedroom to give his boyfriend a water bottle.

Shin sighs as he sits up and rests his head on his palm. He looks at the time, 3:31 am. 'Wow we've been up for that long...' Shin thinks as he starts daydreaming again.

"Babe, here's your water bottle." Shin looks up and sees Alice handing him a cold water bottle from the fridge.

"Thank you." Shin grabs the water bottle and starts drinking it.

When he finished drinking the water, he placed the water bottle on the desk. 'I'm so glad I met this man..' Shin smiled at the thought and went to sit on the bed.

"Babe... Can I have my cuddles..?" Alice groaned as his arms were out, waiting for a 5'6 man to be in it.

He didn't need to be told twice as he shuffled onto the bed to be embraced by his 6'1 partner. They both cuddled in silence; Alice playing with Shin's hair while Shin's eyes gotten tired and closed.

"I love you, Shin." He mumbled to his now snoring partner and he closed his eyes, holding his boyfriend like he would leave any second.
