"Mom sister flora is crying again" the baby of the house said to her mum, Mrs. Aurora who was busy trying to make something nice out of the dish. She was cooking jellof rice, 3 cups of rice with no onion , maggi nor tomato to cook it, not to speak of groundnut oil or crayfish to taste. She had just added only a few drops of red oil and salt to the concoction to see if it will be manageable for dinner.

Feeling so stressed after trying to make something out of the food, she need water to cool of her head or perhaps hearing that her husband bought some fish to help improve its value, but no she heard about her first daughter.
She has tried everything possible to make her see that they love her and that love from people of the outside world doesn't matter but no she wouldn't hear of it.

"But why mother" she will always ask and it pains her to note that her daughter was wallowing with sadness and was gradually isolating herself from them.

"Don't worry I go check her up" she will always reply to any of her children who reported to her of their Elder sister's misery.

"What of your brothers?"

"Delight went out with dad to get some fresh bread for break fast while Nicole is playing with Chloe, the boy who lives next door to us" she replied innocently.

"Go and call Nick, tell him to come home its late, you both need to shower you know, you stink" she chuckled trying to ease the atmosphere. Ariel was the one most concerned about her sister's loneliness because She has no one to play with except her sister as their neighbour had no daughter.

Ariel playing hit her mum's waist and ran away. She was just 12 years. Flora was 15, Nick 16 and Delight 18.

Soon dinner was ready, she served dinner and made sure she dished everyone's meal and by then, Mr. Blackburn was home with delight.

"Where is flora?" He asked with a hint of sadness in his voice.

"She's upstairs daddy, crying" Ariel said softly.

"Don't worry, mummy is going to check her up, eat OK" Mrs aurora said and covered her meal and took alongside with her Flora's meal.

"Mmh..mmh" silent sobs could be heard erupting from Flora's mouth as she was tired from wailing.

'She's no different from a monkey' so she thought as she starred at her reflection on the mirror. Long red hair with lips as red as blood and Fuller brows and long lashes.

"Arrgghh...!!!"she groaned in frustration. She has broken every damn mirror that was in her room, this was the last one.

'At 15, she has no crush or admirer' so she thought.
Who would want to have anything with am illiterate that couldn't make a simple sentence correct. To which she doesn't answer any question referred to her and people began thinking she was dumb.

She starred at her guitar and piano that her parents used some part of the money they get from the government as per Delight's scholarship through which they could feed.

They were poor.

Through delight's monthly allowance,they used in training her, Ariel and Nick.
Her parents used some part of the money to get her a piano and guitar which was ever grateful.

'But what is the usefulness of the these instruments if I can make a correct simple sentence' so she thought.

She went to her bed and brought out a dusty note book but new. She dusted it and opened it.
