The D-day for the exam has come. Flora dressed ready for school, she had vowed not cry anymore at Khalid's words and so she didn't cry. She read all night, disturbing Nicole and Delight for more explanations of chemistry as the words were foreign and hard to understand. As Delight and Nicole taught her, Nicole also learnt as he was going to enter sophomore with her, like his rightful class, he wasn't angry that she would join him, but anything to make her closer to him as his junior but first sister, he was willing to do it.

Her eyes were swollen due to late night. She had slept off while reading around 3:00am. Dressing up, she couldn't get off Khalid's remarks from her head. But she has to.

As usual, they all stared at her like she had grown two heads but that wasn't her problem. She needs to pass and prove that she was no longer dumb or stupid as they thought. She totally forgot about Khalid and went straight to her seat number, No.76. She calmed down,said a brief prayer and let God take over.

The first paper was Mathematics, and she smashed it. The next was physics and chemistry, she tried her best as she was taught by Delight and Nicole. The next period was lunch and she will be having further mathematics, biology and minor topics joined together as general studies. That one had a longer duration, then English will be last.

She didn't go to the cafeteria as she had some pasta and sauce in her flask. Since money started coming little by little through her Mom's Job, she could finally taste other sweet dishes aside the oil rice and homemade biscuits which usually lack good quantity of butter and milk.

She made her way to the library to revise for English actually, she bumped into someone.

"Hi, red beauty" kendo said.

She had actually bumped into Khalid's twin and she's sure his a big time flirt,but not with someone like her, so she thought. She made to walk pass but he dragged her hand and trapped her with his both hands on the wall next to the library door.

"Not so fast and nice red beauty" he said gazing softly at her as his soft breathe found its way all over her face. She didn't say anything.

"Hey, your front hair has wandered away" he said again tucking a hair strand behind her ear. She gulped. No one has looked at her like his before, If it was someone else, she would have been damn happy, but who are we kiddin', it's Kendo, the big time flirt.

She was still thinking until a familiar voice called out to Kendo. It was Vetra and she began panicking.

"Calm down red beauty, I lime you a lot" he said yet again to the hearing of Vetra, totally ignoring her. Flora's heart missed a bit and came back to its rhythm.

Having found her lost voice, she crooked out, "I...I need to go...go revise my English" she stammered.

"Did you just speak correctly??" Kendo and Vetra asked at the same time, but she left them and ran off.

Watching from the library hallway stood someone very angry and slightly proud. Angry at the scene playing in front of him but proud of the words that flew from the mouth of that girl. He followed her immediately but stopped halfway, remembering she Hsd mentioned wanting to revise her English. Recalling to Kendo's confession, he didn't know if he meant it but all he knew was that, it's gonna be a topic for another day. So he retreated.

Flora had gone back to the exam hall ignoring her rumbling stomach. After the general paper, the Almighty English came to view. The section A was a comprehension passage to be answered in the answer script. A summary of "Feelings Of My Heart by @Maris-muna." She had read the novel when Mrs Ann gave her to read it on Wattpad on phone for failing English that session. She answered it and moved to section B whish was an objective, where options were lettered A-E and E being 'None of the above NOTA.'

Most of her answers where E and she was scared. Moving to section C which was random filling of the blank spaces with the suitable English words. She answered it all and moved to section D being the Essay part.

She was about reading the instructions when the invigilator for her class, Mrs Wilburn came to her and held her shoulders, "You look tensed Flora, calm down and write" the class roared with laughter.

"Quiet and write, you have 20minutes remaining."

They thought it was her usual being tensed of not knowing what to write but little did they know, her brain was too hot, looking for more questions to smash.

Meanwhile Khalid was at the CCTV room seeing her, him and his brother were excluded as they were outstanding students who would move to final year, partially their rightful class. They were 19.

After reading the instructions, she found out that the essay part had three options and she choose B being "LIFE AT SCHOOL" 450 words. She had already revised this particular topic with Delight.

"Sounds interesting!" She smirked.
