"You know what, Stark? You ain't shit."
The young man had never seen his friend so raged and it pained him to know that he was the cause of her frustration.
Who wouldn't be pissed off because some idiot that came along and ate the last fried chicken out of the tub when they went to the bathroom?
"Did it come to your mind, Tony, that that glorious wing could be belonged to someone else?" she was breathing heavily, using all of her to not knock this guy out.
"Well it was pretty tasty-" Smack. Tony Stark's cheek grew red in pain. "Ouch! What was that for Marlene?"
" Stark, add two and two then you will get the answer. "
"I'm sorry, Mars Bar. I'll make it up to you by buying you a whole new tub."
Marlene squealed with excitement while Tony just rubbed his sore cheek and chuckled at her mood swing. "You better."

The two had been friends forever. In fact, neither of them can remember much without the other in their lives.
They met at an event hosted by Howard Stark, Tony's (in his opinion) very annoying father. But, even though he hated to admit it, he had to thank his dad for introducing him to Marlene.
Flashback
"Anthony!"
"Yeah, Dad?"
"I want you to meet one of my colleagues. Cole, this is my son, Anthony."
"I prefer Tony."
"Alright, Tony." Cole said. "This is my daughter, Marlene Smith."
From behind him came the most beautiful girl the boy had ever seen. And he had seen a lot. She was a goddess in his eyes. Long braids cascaded past her shoulders and all the way down her back, her dark skin seemed to glow like gold underneath the soft chandelier light. She had black eyes -hickory and dark but they showed some friendliness - that watched him. The boy noticed she had a bit pen ink on her left cheek.
"You have a bit of pen ink on your left cheek." Tony said with his signature smirk.
"Oh thanks." Marlene replied. He watched as she licked her finger and completely missed the spot where the mess was. "Do I got it?"
Her father sighed, "It's 'Have I got it?' and you know that."
Marlene grunted and turned back to Tony. She nodded to the balcony.
"Come back in a half an hour, Anthony. I have something I want to be discussing with you." Howard said.
"Ok, Dad."
On the balcony
"Since we're friends and stuff, we should make nicknames for each other." Marlene said.
"Ok cool. How about I call you..." They say in a comfortable silence, both of them thinking about what they could call the other.
"I got it! Mars Bar." Tony exclaimed . This made the girl giggle. She couldn't figure out if he said the because Marlene starts with 'Mar' like Mars Bar or because she was brown like chocolate.
"I'm Mars Bar and you is Birdie."
"Why?"
"Because Stark sounds like stork. You know... The bird that delivers babies from the clouds?"
"That is so bad. Never call me that." he laughed.
"Fine. Birdie." She smiled.
