"So," Patricia said. "I can't wait too see the city. What is it like? I bet it has the most amazing clubs."
"Well, let me describe it to you. New York is the place where I do not want to go." Marlene was still salty about getting tricked into flying back to her home.
"I'm sorry but there might be a chance to see the Metal Man in action and I really-"
"It's Iron Man, Pat, and it's not cool too trick your friend into coming into a place where she doesn't even want to be." Marlene said.
"I'm sorry but please don't be mad at me." She replied with puppy eyes which made Marlene's heart soften.
"I could never be mad at you, Patricia." Marlene whispered, pulling her friend in for a warm embrace.

The two had settled into their small hotel room when Patricia said, "We are going to the club tonight."
"No, we are not. I'm still tired from the plane."
"Yes, we are. I've got us both new outfits."
"Where did you find the time to get two new outfits?" Patricia shrugged at the question and pulled two beautiful dresses out of one of the suitcases.
One was a jade green two piece that obviously was for Patricia.
"This one is for you." Patricia said while holding up the other one. It was a longer midnight blue dress with a slit on each side.
"I love and it's so beautiful but isn't that a bit too much for a club? I don't think it's worth wearing it just so that people can admire it for a second and then some random drink comes along and pukes on it."
"True. What about this?" The next one she held up was hot pink and looked like it escaped Barbie's closet.
"No."
Patricia sighed and held up another.
"Beautiful."
"Nice, now let me do your hair."

Tony was sitting at a stool in the club with two girls by his side. One blonde and the other one a red head. He had been trying to get them to go away. The man had dropped his playboy antics because now he had a woman he would put his focus on. Pepper Potts.
He didn't even know why he was there. Maybe it was the fact that he was stressed about work or maybe he was just bored.
Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted something. And so did everyone else in the club.
Two women walked in. One of the stunning women's eyes scanned the room: she was wearing a black satin dress with a cowl neck, her hair was styled into a natural and very big afro, she seemed to gleam like a goddess. There was something about her that seemed so familiar. She is probably just one of my hookups, he thought, but I'm pretty sure I would remember someone as beautiful as her.
The two strutted up to the bar and ordered their drinks.
"You girls come here often?" Tony asked, mostly aiming his question at the gorgeous darkskin. Pepper can wait, he thought.
They nod. Clearly none of them had recognised the other.
"Well... H-Have you got names?" What the help is wrong with me? I never stutter, he pondered.
"Yes, I am Patricia and she is Marlene." Marlene stated at her friend angrily as she thought they were going to play hard-to-get.
"Wait. Mars Bar?" It couldn't be.
"You want chocolate?" Patricia asked, confused.
"No, no. Marlene? As in Marlene Smith?"
"Anthony?"
Author's note: So they have finally met again, yayy!
I'm trying to remind myself that I'm doing this for fun and not for some grand publishers or whatever they're called.
I'm not really seeing this story going anywhere right now and it's not really flowing the way I want it to so I'm gonna go watch Iron Man 2 to see where she can tie in with everything. Deuces ✌🏾
