Cherry! Makoto Naegi x Reader

   F/I-Favorite Ice Cream

     Wiping off the tables with a clean rag, I kept glancing at the clock. I worked at a small coffee shop in the daytime. I was planning to meet up with Makoto today at an ice cream parlor. My morning shift was over, I hanged up my apron, grabbed my backpack, and dashed out the door. I was already 7 minutes late, so rushing was practically necessary right now.

  I arrived to find Makoto sitting inside waving through the window. I waved back, and entered through the big glass door, where a little ring from the bell on top could be heard. "Hey y/n", "hey Makoto!". I sat down, "so what are we going to order?" Makoto spoke up again and said, "anything that you'd like to order, there's a menu board to choose from". I've never been to this ice cream parlor before, so hearing that helped.

  I decided to get one of my favorite ice cream treat , f/i. Makoto ordered a chocolate fudge sundae, with caramel syrup, and three cherries on top. As we waited, we had some idle chat. Once our orders arrived we began to eat. One of Makoto's cherries had fallen, as we both tried to catch it from falling, once of us would end up knocking it out of each other's hand and dropping it again, leading to a huge cycle.

I ended finally catching it, and handing it back to Makoto. "Thanks y/n, and sorry about that", he shyly said. "No problem"! We finished our ice cream and payed, then sat outside on the bench in front of the ice cream parlor. "Did you enjoy your day today?" I smiled and leaned on Makoto's shoulder, despite him being shorter than me. "Yeah, it was nice! The whole cherry fiasco that happened is definitely a memory I will never forget". Makoto giggled, and so did I, which then turned into both of us laughing, and chilling on the bench till the sun had settled.
