Fierce and Loving - Akane Owari x Reader

I walked out of my cottage, fully dressed and ready to spend the day with someone I haven't spent time with. On the way, I saw Akane, doing some stretches. I skipped over to her quietly, admiring her muscles and commitment to be able to that in the morning.

Akane noticed me, and stood up. "Hey y/n! Got any breakfast?" I shook my head indicating I haven't eaten yet. "Oh, well I noticed you looked pretty hungry, so go get some food. Can't start a good day without food y'know!" I smiled I return, "thanks Akane". "No need to thank me!" I began to walk, then stopped. "Hey Akane, would you like to go eat with me?" Akane stood right up from doing butterfly stretches.

She grabbed my hand smiling and practically dragged me as she ran into the restaurant. I grabbed some cream cheese Danish bread and some juice. Akane had waffles, a banana blueberry shake, some strawberry cream cheese Danish bread, and milk. As I watched her eat, I continued to admire appetite. By the time I finished by Danish bread, Akane had already finished everything on her plate. "Alright, time to burn those calories!" My face had made an expression of surprise. "Shouldn't you at least wait till resting before exercising?" Akane looked at me like I was the crazy one.

She giggled, and said, "the best time to exercise is after eating for me! If you don't wanna join me, feel free to watch then!" I followed her to the second island, watching her do her thing. Awed at her beauty and skill, I didn't even notice the fact that she had finished exercising. Akane began sprinting at me, knocking me backwards. She was on top of me laughing, then, Akane stood up and helped me to my feet. "You really get yourself lost in imaginary land sometimes huh!" I blushed, a little embarrassed. "It's alright, let's go cool down for a while now!"

We walked to the diner, and sat down. Akane got some food again. "Didn't you eat breakfast an hour ago?" Akane stopped chewing and pouted. "That's cause it's been an hour, if course I'm gonna eat again!" I rested my head on the table. "You tired?" "Nah, just felt like putting my head on the table". Unexpectedly, Akane began to run her fingers through my hair with the hand she wasn't eating with.

I felt my face getting warm, blushing more than I ever had on this island. "You don't seem all that much like the kind of person to exercise, so you just keep resting your head, okay?" I whispered back a small okay, knowing I would have a voice crack if I raised it any higher at the moment. What felt like hours was only minutes. Akane had finished eating her food within five minutes. Even though Akane was done, she continued running her fingers through my hair again. We talked about all sort of things while this went on. Akane even opened up to me about her past. My admiration for the athlete was over the roof now.

She's such a strong person, mentally and physically. Eventually, we talked all the way till the sun was about the set. "Wanna watch the sun set?" I asked, even though it sounded cliche and straight out of a movie. Akane confirmed with an "mhm" sound. As the sun was halfway done setting, I looked into Akane's fierce eyes. Her brown eyes shined, the same shine I'd seen in some fine honey.

Akane noticed me staring, and stared back into my eyes so fiercely and lovingly at the same time. Akane leaned in a little, moved hair out of my face, and gave me a small kiss on forehead. "Thanks for spending the day with me y/n. Rest a little here okay? Then I'll carry you back to your dorm!" I replied with a quiet "okay" and a closed my eyes with a smile on my face. Akane returned a smile back to me, patter my head, and continued to stroke my hair between her fingers. I had no fear of being killed by Akane. I had full trust in her to bring me back to my dorm. I peacefully fell asleep, claiming this to be the best time I've spent with someone on the island.
