A/N: Okay, turns out I am willing to write the second part to the last chapter! Also, this is the second last chapter of this story, which means there's only one more to go after this one. Hope you all have enjoyed it so far. And thank you for all the nice comments! ALSO! There is a spoiler for the game near the end so if you don't want spoilers then click off this now!
Your P.O.V
"Really? What is it?" I asked Balan. He said he had an idea. However, before he could answer, the beast roared in annoyance.
"Well then, if that's settled, may I have one last dance, my dear?" Balan extended his arm in a gentleman-type manor for me to take it.
I smiled and took his hand as he then suddenly pulled me in towards him. I gasped but then got a hold of myself. 'Was this his plan? A dance?' I thought to myself. I then gave a soft smile.
Balan's P.O.V
When I pulled (y/n) closer to me I could see all of her facial features clearly. They sure did complement that wonderful smile of hers.
Your P.O.V
(Listen to the song I put at the top while reading this everyone I promise you won't regret it)
With one snap of Balan's fingers, instruments appeared out of nowhere and began to play on their own.
After a millisecond of silence Balan then began to lead me in another ballroom-like dance, like the one in the theatre.
Balan twirled me with grace and ease, making me feel like a mere feather in his arms.
I also had the costumes with me so I changed to them every so often during the dance with ease and used their powers on the beast.
Balan also used his powers every so often. It felt so unusual but it was also fun. The instruments continued to play.
Balan dipped me as he used his powers on the beast without even having to look at it. He kept his half-lidded eyes on me which made my cheeks heat up a little bit.
After a minute or so of dancing elegantly, Balan threw me into the air and I used one of the costumes powers on the beast as a final beating.
As I fell to the ground and got out of the costume and back to my original self, Balan caught me with ease, twirling me around while carrying me bridal style and let my feet touch the ground as we finished our dance. The instruments that were playing then disappeared.
Once we finished, the beast roared as loud as it ever has before. It then began to evaporate completely with a loud
BOOM!
All I could see was darkness until I opened my eyes.
We were back in the theatre.
Balan and I looked at each other for a split second before we burst out into laughter.
"Oh, man! That was the most fun I've ever had!" I wiped a tear from my eye from laughing.
Balan chuckled in response. "Well, I'm glad. And not only are you a good singer, but you're also a good dancer." Balan complemented me. My checks heated up again.
"Well, I hate to say it, but... it's time for you to go home now." Balan said, almost gloomily.
"Wait, so soon?! But what about Lance? And the Negaties? And-." I began to ramble but Balan stopped me by pressing his finger on my mouth.
"They're gone now. For good. Don't worry." He reassured me, putting his gloved hands on both of my shoulders.
He was incredibly close to me but before I could say anything, he snapped his fingers and we were in a giant white space.
What stood before me was a door which then opened.
Balan also had Tims next to him who squeaked in sadness, they didn't want you to leave.
"But... it's gonna be hard to leave. Even though I know I have to. Won't I remember?"
Balan looked at me and his smile seemed to be genuine again.
"Who knows. Other people don't. But if your balance is strong enough, then maybe you might be able to remember little bits. Just like your parents."
I thought for a moment. My parents did remember the theatre and Wonderworld. So maybe I will too.
I took in a deep breath and turned towards the door.
"If I don't remember, then... it was nice meeting you, Balan." I turned back to him giving him a faint smile.
"You too, darling. But we'll probably meet again. If your heart is ever lead astray again, the theatre will be here for you if you need it." Balan then bowed in front of me.
I couldn't hold it in anymore. I rushed up to him and hugged him tightly.
Balan's P.O.V
I was surprised at first but then agreed to hug back. I will admit, I will miss her.
I thought for a second and had another idea. I gently pushed her off me and stepped back.
Your P.O.V
'What was he doing? Did I do something wrong?'
Before I knew it, Balan took off his hat and revealed his true form.
His face was a pearly white and his golden orb-like eyes seemed much more outstanding.
He chuckled at my shocked expression and walked towards me.
Soon enough he cupped my cheek with his spare hand while the other was holding his hat.
My heart was pounding fast and I couldn't help but blush. Butterflies were going crazy inside my stomach.
But before I could say anything, Balan leaned down and gave me a gentle but tender kiss.
I was shocked but then returned it and melted into it while I shut my eyes, wrapping my arms around his neck.
The Tims squeaked in happiness and joy for us.
After a few seconds of this, Balan pulled away and a sudden breeze came in, making me lift off the ground and through the door.
The last thing I saw was Balan's smile and him waving at me.
A/N: I know this is a weird choice to stop at but I promise it'll all make sense. Anyway, it was fun journeying through Wonderworld with you all. We still have one more chapter to go after this then that'll be the end. Hope you've all enjoyed it so far and I'll see you in the next one!
Stay tuned, my fellow Bookworms!
