A/N: First off, I'd like to thank you all for 400 followers. Seriously, y'all are too nice. Secondly, I might write up two chapters of this today since there's two parts to this. But that's a maybe. Anyway, enjoy!

Your P.O.V

"What?" I questioned Balan, looking over his shoulder while still hiding behind him.

"Your voice. Your singing voice. Sing something." He whispered in response.

I was visibly confused and still didn't know what to do.

"Balan, how is that gonna?-." I was going to ask Balan how this was going to solve everything until Lance somehow duplicated himself but the duplicated form was his normal form. He somehow knew how to make clones of himself like how Balan could.

As soon as he did that, he flew straight towards me and took me into a dark void.

"BALAN!" I yelled until the void closed.

"(Y/N)!" Was the last thing that I heard from him until I was surrounded by nothing but pitch-blackness.

I stood up and looked around, confused. I heard laughter from all around me, as if a voice was toying with me.

"Lance? Where am I?" I asked to the empty nothingness, hoping to get a response.

"You're a confident one, I see." He said as he appeared from darkness and stood right in front of me, towering over me with his height.

"I want to go home!" I raised my voice. Lance seemed to be chuckling at my sentence.

"Why would you want to go home? Stay here. Balan obviously has feelings for you." Lance said as he disappeared again.

"What are you taking about?" I questioned, looking around to see where he'll pop out next.

"I'm saying..." He re-appeared again. "You would be better off to stay here."

As soon as he said that, a mirror appeared in front of me. I stepped towards it and saw a vision in the reflection.

"You could be great, you know. The star of your own show." He said as the mirror showed a vision of me as a magical being just like Balan and us too laughing together.

"You won't have to worry about any... humany things anymore. You'll be free of all your cares. And all you have to do... is come with me."

Lance stepped in front of me, taking my eyes off the mirror and extending his hand for me to take it.

"...But... that's not what I want." I muttered. Lance could hear clearly since there was nothing but a dark void.

"Oh, come on. I know it is. And you know it too." Lance extended his had further, showing his impatience.

I clutched my fists and decided to step up.

"No." Lance took a step back and raised a brow. "No?"

"No. This isn't what I want. You're just messing with my head. Sure, life may not be perfect, and there are mishaps along the way. But that's when we learn. You can't just run away from your problems. All you can do is face them."

I started walking towards Lance and began to step back in fear and confusion, using only his hands as self-defence.

"And that's exactly what I'm gonna do!" I yelled in his face.

Lance growled in anger and destroyed his own void with one snap of his fingers so then we were back to where we were before.

"(Y/N!)" Balan exclaimed in happiness as he hugged me in a warm embrace.

"Hey, Balan. We don't have much time. But what you told me earlier, I'll do it." I told him face to face. He did nothing but nodded and let me walk towards the giant beast.

I took a deep breath and began to sing.

"I am not a stranger to the dark..."
I saw Balan beam with a grin out of the corner of my eye.
"Hide away, they say,
'Cause we don't want your broken parts"

"I've learned to be ashamed of all my scars."
"Run away, they say,
No one'll love you as you are"

"But I won't let them break me down to dust."
"I know that there's a place for us
For we are glorious."

"When the sharpest words wanna cut me down,

I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown 'em out."

"I am brave, I am bruised."
"I am who I'm meant to be, this is me."

"Look out 'cause here I come."

"And I'm marching on to the beat I drum."

"I'm not scared to be seen,
I make no apologies, this is me."

I repeated these lines a couple times and my voice gradually got louder as I got more confident.

Soon enough, the beast got angry, but it's negativity seemed to have been fading away, which meant the beast got smaller.

I finished another verse and took in a deep breath. I collapsed onto the floor, sitting on my knees.

Balan ran to me and offered me some support.

"Are you alright?" He helped me stand up on my two feet again.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Although, I don't know what else to do." I said as I turned to the beast who roared in anger. There must be something else to defeat him.

Balan looked as if he was thinking and snapped his fingers. But this time, it wasn't because he magicked up something.

"I might have an idea."
