I bought Tigger and Wolfie 15lbs of steak each. Since I had very little money I had to use Ace’s credit card.
“Where you get all this money?” I asked him once me and Tigger settled at the tree root again.
“Oh yeah the money! The Queen and King deposit 2 grand every week and plus the money I take from my victims.”
“Oh ok” He frowned “What?”
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
I knew what he was talking about but it was supposed to be a secret. My secret. “I don’t know what you’re talking about”
            “You know exactly what I’m talking about Zyana! Don’t say you don’t” he sigh, clearly trying not to show his bad side “Why didn’t you tell me you were the missing Princess of our people!?!? Everyone thinks your dead!” His eyes started to show a hint of red glow “MY FATHER GOT HIS GODDAMN HEAD CUT OFF BECAUSE PEOPLE THOUGHT HE KILLED YOU EVEN THOUGH HE WAS INNOCENT!!” now his eyes were glowing so bright that I was afraid people around us would notice
            “ YOUR FATHER WAS NOT INNOCENT! HE DIDN’T KILL ME BECAUSE MY SISTER GOT IN THE WAY! HE KILLED MY SISTER!!!!!”
Ace’s eyes got back to normal “You had a sister?”
I nodded holding back the tears. “We were twins. She was older than me by 2 minutes”

“Come on Teresa! We aren’t gonna get caught!” I called to my sister
“Are you sure about this, Zyana? You know how disappointed Daddy is gonna be if he finds out about this”
“But he won’t, right?” I turned towards her and she nodded “Come on then!”
“But Zyana! We’re barely 8 you have to be at least 17 to get a drink, haven’t you thought about that?”
I turned around annoyed “Teresa, we are the princesses that everyone talks about our wish is their command”
            “Still, won’t they tell Father?”
            “Loosen up a bit, Tere. So if they tell dad I’ll take the blame he won’t be surprised at all,” I told her, slowing my pace down so she could catch up. I turned to look at her. She starred with wide eyes at something behind me “What?” she pointed behind me.
            Before I turned someone put a knife on my throat “Shhhh if you scream I’ll kill you.” I bit my aggressor’s hand and started to run pulling my sister behind me. But of course some 8 years olds couldn’t out run a grown man. He caught Teresa and slit her throat before she could even scream. He got me by the hair and I did scream, making the soldiers shine the light at us.
            They caught him and just killed him but I wasn’t so lucky. The soldiers escorted me to my father’s headquarters. Of course my mom hugged me as soon as I stepped foot in there.
            “Oh, honey are you ok? I heard about Teresa, I’m sorry you were there to witness it.” She said checking my face for any new cuts
            “Emily don’t touch that piece of filth” yelled Father, he did never like me. He said I good for nothing, Teresa was always his favorite.
            “Oh, Thomas, how dare you! Don’t call our daughter that!”
            “I dare with all my right! That ‘thing’ ” he pointed at me “killed Teresa, the only real princess here, and your still on her side”
I never liked the way he talked to me. I started to feel my eyes glow and I heard crackle. My hair is turning into fire again, shit! I stepped out of my mother’s arms and confronted my father “That ‘thing’ has a name, Father. And just incase you didn’t know that ‘thing’ in the strongest person in your whole kingdom.” My hand started to burn shit!!!!
            “Look at her Emily! She a monster! Look at her! All if you! Look at her! SHE’S A GODDAMN MONSTER! Thanks to her our kingdom will one day fall. I and will not allow it. Form this day on you will be send to the human world.”
            “Thomas! Don’t you dare!” screamed my mother walking up to him but I stopped her putting a hand on her shoulder. I had calmed down, I was as normal as I could be again.
            “It’s okay mom. I will be okay. I promise this to you. As long as my heart is beating I will keep our secret” I hugged her and kissed her cheek “I love you mom. Don’t let that asshole ruin you.” I looked back at my dad. I was surprised to see he was crying “Good bye Father, I hope you will one day realize that you have an amazing woman that loves you enough to stay with you after sending your only daughter away” I turned and walked towards the portal.
            Zyana, wait!” I turned to see my father coming towards me “Take this” he handed me a knife. I took it and put it in my pocket. He spread his arms for a hug but I just turned and walked into the portal.

“Oh” was all Ace said
“Yah, then Father presented me as missing and then dead so no one will come to look for me. But apparently he forgot about the killer’s son”
Ace stood and stretched “Let’s go”
            “Where?”
            “It’s time the king saw his little princess”
