Saiunkoku (Love Potion)

The night has fallen as, Niji Hikari sat under the Pagoda on a bench in the garden. The moon shined brightly on her as, the breeze blew slowly.

Just then, Niji Hikari turned to see the young handsome emperor approaching her. He wore his fancy purple cloths with his long blond hair down with his bangs as well. Niji Hikari turned away blushing trying not to let him see.

"You wanted to see me?" Ryuuki Shi asked. "I-I wanted to get to know you." Niji Hikari said smiling. The young handsome emperor looked towards her with wonder. "Ok."  Niji Hikari takes out buck antlers and puts them on her head. She lowers her head and pokes him with them. "Stab. Haha, I stabbed you." She giggled. "Now what will you do?" "Nothing." Ryuuki Shi responded to her giggling. He sat down beside her. 

"I always loved to wear pink. What about you?" Niji Hikari asked. "Purple is what a wear." Ryuuki Shi smiled at her. "You know. Your a good friend." Ryuuki Shi said hugging her. Niji Hikari's face began to turn a bright pink with her eyes tearing. She felt as if, she had been laying in a hot sauna for to long.

Niji Hikari wanted to continue this but she forced to remove herself from him. "Umm? Ryuuki?" Ryuuki Shi stops hugging her. The young emperor looks at her with concern. "Niji? What's wrong?" Niji Hikari began to feel like she couldn't move at all. She felt like she forgot how to say the words. "Ryuuki? There's something I need to tell you."

The throne was quite as Zara was fixing up the place. The emperor Ryuuki Shi had to choose a bride and what jobs each of the women would get. Zara was chosen to be the lady in waiting instead of a warrior like she always wanted to be. Instead of wearing cool and dark warrior armor, she wore pretty yellow cloths with a pinch of pink on the edges of it. What a fool. How could  the emperor choose someone so strong and unique to be a sweet and lovely lady in waiting. "ZARA?! ZARA?! ZARA?!" Warai rushes up to her with excitement. "What?" Zara turns to him rolling her eyes. 

Warai shows Zara two masks. One was a red and scary demon one, while the other was a white ghost with a mean looking face on it. "Which one is more scary? The demon head or the ghost head? "Grrrr." Warai tries them both on and takes them off. "I'll have to go with the hideous one your wearing right now." Zara responds with a smirk. "Oh, your so sweet." Warai says smiling towards her with a lazy face.

"Ryuuki?" Niji Hikari began to shake feeling as if, she was trapped in a room alone with him. "The truth is that I do love you but not as your trusted friend or a sister to you, I mean I love you more then that way. I love you as, my soulmate. The sun and the moon rise in your eyes. There's know one else I'd rather be with then with you." The young handsome emperor froze there in shock making a grin. "Please don't be mad." Niji Hikari said hugging him with worry. 

Ryuuki Shi looked down at the ground and looked at Niji Hikari. "Niji? That's so sweet of you." He smiles at her with pride. "I'm glad to see you were strong enough to tell me how you feel but..." He looks away from her and his smile turns upside down. "I'm in love with another woman."

Ryuuki Shi looks at. "But if you want, you can also be here lady in waiting just like I made your friend Zara. "Oh." Niji Hikari looks away in disappointment. "Well? What do you say?" Ryuuki Shi smiles with delight closing his eyes for a few seconds.

Just then, they hear a voice. They looked to see a little girl with long blond hair and brown eyes. Her smile was sweet. She wore fancy purple and pink cloths with red hearts on him. "This is my daugther Chouka Shi." Chouka Shi stepped forward. "Hello." "Hi." Niji Hikari said giving her a purple flower. "Here." The young little princess smiles with joy jumping up and down. "Thank you so much. I LOVE IT!" She holds it tightly to her chest. Ryuuki Shi neels down to her. "Hey? Would do you say, I read you a story later?"He picks her up. "Ok." Chouka Shi hugs him. "May we please bring the pretty lady with us too?" I don't know." Ryuuki Shi puts her down and pats her on the head. "The young lady has work to do or might even become your future lady in waiting. Now off to bed." He smiles pointing towards her bedroom. "Ok." The young princess exits turning towards Niji Hikari and leans in. "You and my father would make a cute couple."
