Saiunkoku (Love Potion)

chapter 9

The sun began to set as, Niji Hikari, Zara, Kuro, Seiran, Warai, and Ryuuren Ran finally stepped toward a small dark village. The huts were were old and dark looking with white kirtans on the side of the huts as, the wind blew them slowly. 

Kuro steps forward crossing her arms with a sigh. "This is the place." She sighs again. They all crutched down looking up at the large spooky dark looking house at the end of the path. Warai glopped feeling terrified. He suddenly felt someone tug him. "Let's go." Zara said yanking him. Warai looked up at her with tears running down his face feeling joy. You said let's." Zara rolls her eyes. "I meant all of us."

They stepped into the house. "KIRA?! KIRA! ARE YOU THERE?!" Kuro called. Warai looked at the small statue.  "OOOOOO!" Warai's eyes sparkled with amazement. "What's this thing do?" He taps the statue causing it to glow. Just then, the statue suddenly flew up in the air suddenly transforming into a map.

Zara steppes in crossing her arms with annoyance. She narrowed her eyes. "Didn't anyone ever tell you not to touch something that doesn't belong to you." Warai turns around with a smile on his face. "Yes they did." He points his finger up in the air. "OOOOOO!" Warai's eyes sparkled with amazement again. "What's that?" He points at a large crystal ball sitting on the table at the end of the room. 

Warai was just about to touch it until, his hand was slapped  by Zara. "JUST DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING!" Their argument ends when they suddenly heard a strange voice. "PLEASE DON'T TOUCH THAT!" They all looked up to see a dark woman dressed in long black cloths. She was holding a large golden staff with a dark blue crystal ball on the top of the staff. She also wore a black choker with black gems on it.

Ryuuren Ran looks around the room with amazement. "This place is so lovely. Ryuuren Ran said playing his flute. He suddenly heard mumbling and he turns to come face to face with the beautiful dark woman flying upside own sitting upside down on her magic carpet staring at him. "Why hello there handsome." Ryuuren Ran stops playing his flute and puts it away staring back at her. "Hello." He said feeling speechless.

Seiran and Niji Hikari stepped towards her. "Kira? We came here because we need your help."  "My help?" Kira quickly flips over still sitting on her magic carpet. "Ok, so what can I do for you?" She lays on her stomach resting her head on her fists while, her feet crossed one another. 

Niji Hikari shook with feeling scared and worried as if, she was being chased by a werewolf. "It's the emperor. We gave him the love potion you gave to me and one of my friends accidentally  dropped the whole potion into his drink. Please tell me you can help us." Kira's eyes widen with surprise. The dark woman's laying on her magic carpet slowly backed up looking as if, she didn't know how to fix anything at all. "Rrrrrr." Kira rolls her eyes feeling speechless. "Well, I'm not sure if there's anything I can do for you..." She cut herself off looking at the poor sad and unhappy woman looking at her with tears in her eyes. "Please Kira? Can you help us?" The dark woman frowns still felling speechless. "Well..." Kira rolls her eyes not knowing how she'll help. "I guess maybe there is something I could do." 

Kira flew into her kitchen and then magically , a spell book flew out of her book shelf into her hands. She opened it up to look inside it. "I'll see what I can do but in the mean time." She turns to look at Niji Hikari and her friends with a look of concern on her face. "You and your friends need to lie low for a while." She points at them. 

Ryuuren Ran stares at her beginning to blush. He leans over to Zara. "Who is she?" Zara crosses her arms leaning against the wall. "That's Kira. She's Kuro's sister and I guess she's a sorceress." "She's my new kendra spirit number one. Aaaaaa." Ryuuren Ran falls onto the ground. Zara's eyes widen with worry seeing the flute player laying on the floor.

"LET ME OUT OF HERE!" The crazy emperor cried banging on the door with anger. 

Shuuei Ran and Kouyuu Li guarded the door on each side. "Kouyuu Li turns to Shuuei Ran feeling frustrated. "G HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR SOMEONE TO GET A KORE FOR THIS KIND OF STUFF?!" Kouyuu Li said crossing his arms and narrowing his eyes. "Patience." Shuuei Ran turns to him with a calm look on his face. "OH COME ON! YOUR NOT EVEN AT ALL WORRIED ABOUT THE STUPID KING BECOMING THE INCANE KING!" Kouyuu Li waves his arm at the door. Shuuei Ran smiles peacefully. "I have faith in them. Be patient. They will come." Shuuei Ran giggles.

Jyuusan Ran approached them with glasses of water under a plate. "Are you two thirsty?" "Yes." Kouyuu Li replayed taking the glass and sipping from it. "I hope they can find a kore for this soon." Jyuuran Ran said with worry. "They will but we just need to be patent. That's all." Shuuei Ran takes the other glass "And besides, it's not like we haven't dealt with this stupid king before." He sips from the glass.

"I GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE!" Ryuuki Shi moved back and forth. His purple cloths wore torn and his hair was messy. His face was a light pinkish red. "I-I need to get to my Niji. I NEED TO GET TO MY NIJI!"

Ryuuki Shi looks at the window to see it was open. "MY NIJI?!" He quickly rushes towards the window. "DON'T WORRY MY LITTLE CHERRY BLOSSOM! I WILL FIND YOU!" Ryuuki Shi falls out the window onto the ground. 

Ryuuki Shi hold his sword close to him and he looks to see six of his guards standing there. "MY LOVER HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED AND I'LL NEED YOUR HELP TO RETREIVE HER! LET'S GO!" His 

Ryuuki Shi and his guards approached their horses until, he heard his daughter's soft voice. "Daddy?" Ryuuki Shi turns to his sweet and incent daughter standing there with a teddy bear close to her chest. "Where are you going?" The insane king crouches down to his daughter. He rested his hand on her shoulder. "I need to go out and do something and I need you to stay here and make sure know one especially Shuuei or Kouyuu come looking for me ok?" The sweet and incent  daughter smiles at him. "Ok." She hugs him. Ryuuki Shi hugs her back. "Ok." He stops hugging her. "I'll be back ok?" "Ok." Chouka Shi waves goodbye. "Bye daddy."

Ryuuki Shi gets on his horse along with his guards getting on their horses heading out of the palace as, the large wall began to open up. "AAAAAA! I WILL FIND YOU MY BLOSSOM! WHAT EVER IT TAKES! I WILL FIND YOU!"  Ryuuki Shi waves out his sword with courage as, they all headed out of the kingdom. Ryuuki Shi " I know it was my insane brother and his evil friends. They have all turned against me. Well, I show them who's boss. He narrowed his eyes with rage on his face.
