1st Person POV:

Reki steps forward, letting out all emotion as he screams at the top of his lungs, "Langa!" My heart skips a beat, my body tensing up as I watch the monitors, barely blinking in hopes of not missing anything. Adam, with his arms reached out forward comes at Langa.

'This is it, there's no way Langa gets out of this' I say to myself, my fists clenched in fear for the boy.

But, for some reason, he doesn't look scared. I find myself surprised, watching as the boy shifts his feet around and sending his board into the air, flying over Adam. I let out a shaky breath. The crowd bursts out in cheers and shouting. It's Absolutely Unreal, it should've been impossible.

I stand next to Reki, gaping at the monitors. "He just- dodged a love hug" I manage, finally catching a breath and ketting a smile etch on the corners of my mouth. Looking up at the red head I notice him gaping too, neither of us were expecting this.

Adam stands there, visibly stunned, before he gets on his board, racing after the boy. He rushes around corners, going faster than anyone I've ever seen on a board. Don't get me wrong, I hate Adam. But he's good.

Within seconds he's caught up to Langa, surpassing him. "He's going toe to toe against Adam" Joe says, followed by Miya: "But he's going too fast".

"If he were to fall now- he wouldn't be able to get back up. He can't turn back now" I state, my heart beating ferociously, nervousness overcoming at me at the intense match. Langa struggles on his board for a bit, he's not used to going this fast. And he shouldn't.

A loud wailing noise is heard around us. Everyone's attention averts to the source, commotion starting in the crowd. "We've never seen cops around this place before" Shadow says, panicked people running away, afraid to get caught. "Wait, where are Reki and Kamatsu?" Miya says behind me. I followed Reki as he hopped on a motorcycle, bringing me with him. I climb on the back, wrapping my arms around his waist as we take off, chasing after Langa.

"Guys!" Miya yells, trying to stop us, but with no avail. We race down the road, following the pathway at an alarming speed. I wrap my arms around Reki's waist a little tighter as we turn a sharp corner. Going this fast on a motorcycle; It's scary. But at the same time, I feel the thrill pump adrenaline into my veins as a small smile forms on my face subconsciously.

I spot the mop of blue hair in the distance, perking up. "There he is!" I point, the two of us nearing the boy down the road. We get a bit closer, and realize that cops have already found Langa. Reki drifts and comes to a halt, before shouting: "Hop on!". Langa climbs on the motorcycle, wrapping his arms round my waist as the three of us take off, avoiding the police and chasing away.

After a few minutes of driving Reki turns a corner, going down the stairs. We jump off, sitting on the stairs. The sirens of the police cars pass by us, a relieved sigh escaping my mouth. I reach for my bag, pulling out a first aid kit. I brought it with me, knowing Langa would get hurt.

Taking out the bandages I wrap them around the boys hand tightly. He groans in pain as I finish up, securing it and admiring my work. "You were too reckless y'know?" I scold him.

"They're right" Reki starts, "I mean, what was up with that? when you jumped over Adam..." He pauzes, looking down. "When I was spinning with Adam, I thought it's be better to get closer than to run away" Langa retorts. I open my mouth, "And so, you just tried it out?" I ask him, before he responds simply, "Yeah"

Silence fills the space, the three of us still sitting on the stairs, looking down. I fiddle with my fingers, letting out shaky breaths, still fazed from Adam and Langa's race. "I'm glad you're alright, we both are" I mumble to the blue haired boy. He looks at me, his eyes glazed with emotion.

Reki gets up, "Langa, you should stay away from him" He says with a serious tone. He's right. They exchange looks, before Langa turns away, "Got it" He murmurs, looking back down. I get up too, "Let's go grab something to eat" I smile, trying to lighten up the mood. Reki's face brightens, and he slings his arm around my shoulder, suggesting places to eat, pulling me with him. A small blush making it's way onto my cheeks at his touch.
