The sunlight poured into my room through the small gap between my curtains

The sunlight poured into my room through the small gap between my curtains. Shining a golden beam of light directly onto my face and immediately causing me to wake up. My head was pounding and all I could do was let out a light grunt as I sat up on the mattress. Looking over to the right of me to see a body inhabiting the other side of the bed.

Memories of the night before invading my mind just as violently as the sunlight that was invading my eyes. Part of me remembers the bar we went to after Vixen but at the same time much of it was a blur. The bare skin of the unknown woman's back was exposed by the low sheet that was draped over her body.

Gathering all my strength I stood up from my spot and scanned the room for my clothes. Picking her skimpy red dress up in the process. Throwing it onto her along with her underwear that look more like a piece of string than anything that will actually cover you.

"Get up and get out." I speak out as I pull a pair of joggers on. Rummaging through my night stand drawer for something to calm the ache in my head. Only finding a lone joint instead of any actual medication. It'll have to do for the time being.

I look over at the woman beside me as she begins to stir slightly on the bed. She gave me a look that showed her disapproval with my earlier words. Moving off the bed quickly in order to get dressed.

I left the room and went off to the kitchen. It was much brighter compared to the guest room we were just in. The curtainless windows let in every ounce of light possible. Causing me to squint while I adjusted to the increased brightness of the room. I made my way to the cupboard to get out a glass before walking over to the sink to fill it. Practically inhaling the water in one gulp. Taking the purple lighter off the counter to light the joint I had found.

"Here, your phone is ringing." The now dressed woman says as she exits the bedroom. Extending her arm out, my ringing phone lit up in her hand.

"Thanks, you can see yourself out." I say flatly. Earning a scoff and an eye roll out of her. She immediately struts always, shoes in hand as she walks barefoot out the front door. Making sure to slam it in the process, as if that would upset me.

I looked at the phone to see that Dominick was calling me. Putting it up to my ear to answer the call as I stood looking over the city from the large window.

"Styles! I didn't even know you left last night. I know you didn't go home alone, she's still there?" He questioned excitedly over the line. I shook my head and his childish manner and blew a cloud of smoke from my mouth before speaking.

"Just kicked her out. I barely remember what happened so it couldn't have been anything great. I'm gonna shower then I'll be on my way to the warehouse." I explained as I watched the cars drive around below me. The faint sound of honking could be heard even from this high up.
