(A/N) Hey, I am sorry, I didn't post in forever. (I know once a week isn't so bad, but it's just that I won't post three times a week like with the Smosh corpse party...) It's just that I have a lot of work for school, plus I am working on some possible future projects. So just, stay patient. Allright, love ya!
Anthony's P.O.V.
I picked up the note and read it.
This is your first quest. I suppose you figured out that Ian is not with you now. Don't worry though, he's allright. He is on the other end of the maze. Your task is to meet and continue together into the next 'level'. But this maze is really complicated and the probability of the two of you meeting just like that is very little. However, there are no dead ends, and there are some noticable spots around here where you could meet. I left you here a phone to help you. Don't get too excited, this phone can only send and recieve pictures. No text messages, no talking either. Let's see if you can cooperate even without any verbal communication. No cheating. You can only talk after you walk out of the maze.
I picked up the phone as well. It looks like a regular phone. I don't see why does it work so wierd?
The phone suddenly vibrated and the screen lit up. There was a 'new pictuere recieved' message with a 'open' and 'ignore' buttons underneath it. I pressed open and looked at the picture. There was a picture of one of the halls, and I could see and arm pointing into the direction where the hallway led. I could see a part of the sleeve. This was from Ian for sure. So I suppose Ian got the same instructions.
Alright. Let's get this over with. As soon as I find Ian, we'll be back home, safe and sound.
I was just about to take a similar photo as Ian did, but then I realized. The girl talked about some 'noticable spots'. It'd be a bit pointless to just take a photo of a blank wall. I am sure those are here everywhere.
Fine. I'll take only photos of stuff that seem out of ordinary.
I countinued walking forward and then to the right. And right around the corner, I saw a stain on the floor. I wasn't sure what it was. Frankly, I didn't try to figure out. I knew I wouldn't like it.
I pulled out the phone and took a picture. Right after that, I got another photo from Ian. There was a creepy-ass painting hanging on the wall. Yeah, I will remember that.
I put the phone back into my pocket and continued my 'journey'.
~~~~~
I was walking around for what felt like hours. I had no idea how much time I actually spent here. It could have been two hours, but just as easily 10 minutes. And nothing had happened. We are just wandering around, not able to meet. Anywhere. The pictures Ian sent me were each on a completelly different places. Not ordered in any logical way. Ther was no way for me to follow him.
God damn! We are going to fail the very first test! How many of these 'levels' are here anyway? And how hard will the last one be, if this one is the easiest?
It was really en exhausting experience. And I knew there was way more yet to come.
~~~~~
We exchanged some more pictures with Ian, but still didn't get anywhere at all. It was all the same.
God. How long is this gonna take?!
This sure is a test. A test of our patience! How is this testing our friendship?! Our ability to cooperate?! This has nothing to do with those things! It's just annoying! There is no way of completing this! how are we-
All the sudden, my thoughts were interupted by Ian's yelling voice. "Anthony! Where are yo- GAH!"
Ian! I have to get to him! I have to help him, no matter what will it cause!
"Ian!", I screamed back in fear, but regretted it the very moment I did so. I suddenly felt a sharp pain on my wrist. It felt as if someone stabbed the knife in there and turned it around. It was an incredible pain.
What the fuck? What happened? Why did it happen?!
I looked at my wrist. There, in small letters, were scraped out two words, No cheating. It was almost unreadable, because of every single cut was dripping blood. After few seconds was my wrist so bloody, that the words jut disappeared.
That's probably what happened to Ian.
Wait, it means Ian is near!
Holding my bleeding wrist, I ran around the corner to, hoping to approach Ian.
Unfortunatelly, he was gone again. And I noticed something was different from the last time I walked by here. There, on the wall, next to a creepy painting, was sprayed a little bit of blood. And some drops of blood on the ground.
I know you're here, buddy.
Don't worry. I will find you!
We are going to finish this goddamned game!
~~~~~
(A/N) Here, yet another chapter! Woohoo! Allrigt, I am sorry, the chapters in this one are probably going to be shorter, then in my previous fic. Hopefully longer than this one. It's incredibely short (no pun intended).
So... stay tuned ;). Love ya <3!
