"Kingsley wants to see you both"

"I'm good. Still stuck with this idiot" Zayn rolled his eyes crossing his arms and leaned back against the chair "why are we here?"
"Simon. We need your help to catch him" Zayn sat up straight and Liam nodded "He clearly wants something from you both. If he was willing to take you and hurt you... Liam"
"Yeah... he wants to bring Voldemort back"
"How is that possible?"
"A soul for a soul. Voldemort split his soul into 7, Simon already killed 5 people, he killed 2 more and he'll get him back, in this case. If he comes back with mine and Zayn's souls he'll be much stronger, not only will he have a connection to Slytherin house. But the ministry, Zayn and I both work for the ministry and imagine if it comes out that one of us is dead but we are both alive"
"But that makes no sense!" Zayn said looking at Liam and Kingsley
"Because he's not sure if it works. He just read it somewhere now he's trying it"
"But he's killing people for a reason that might not work"
Liam sighed and nodded "I know Zee" he turned to Zayn with a frown and held his hand "You and I are next"
"I don't want you getting hurt more"
Liam smiled "I know..." Liam turned to Kingsley and sighed "After this... I'd like to stop being an auror... I've put enough people in Azkaban in the past few years that I know I did good" Liam pursed his lips then took a deep breath "Putting Simon in will be my last..."

"I worked hard to get here but nobody told me that there will be a 69 year old Wizard coming after me because he wants to bring the dark lord back"
Kingsley nodded while looking at Liam "It was nice to have you here Liam"
