The sound of the clock ticking accompanies a man who, for the fifth night in a row haven't got any dose of a regular human sleep at all.

He did sleep but not that kind of sleep.

Sleep as in sleeping but still, he is aware of his surroundings.

He already gave up swallowing sleeping pills.

It makes him drown and he stopped before he got addicted to depending too much on it.

He fired someone again today.

Not that he means it, but sleep deprivation is seriously starting to take tools on his insanity. He's mentally and physically tired because of it but his mind doesn't seem to understand a bit of it.

"Like seriously Mew, that is the fifth. At this rate, no one would want to work with you. Did you sleep yet?" Kaownah his best buddy who is aware of Mew insomnia asking for his confirmation.

He knows him from high school and he guarantee, he's not this asshole in front of him who mindlessly fired people just because of a spelling mistake.

"Don't start! I'm out for the day." Mew said irritated with Kaownah nagging him. He wears his suit and walks out from his office building leaving his staff exhaled in relief.

He wondered why the hell that he can't sleeps. The sleep he got is only because he's dead tired or he passed out.

He even got professionals to help and all telling him the same diagnosis. He's okay. It's all just in his head and they did give him something to help him sleep.... guess what?

Sleeping fucking pills!!

There was even one time he drunk himself out to sleep for several nights but he ended up being admitted to the hospital because of dehydration and alcohol poisoning.

Luckily for him, Kaownah was checking on him. If not, hell is waving on the other side for him cause he knows, he's not a good person to start with.

So hell it is! Whatever! I just need to sleep.

"Well if sleep abandoned me better make something useful then." He gives up finally trying to fight sleep to get asleep.

So he reaches for his guitar and strums a melody.

Hmmm... it's been a long time since he plays. He feels so good when he heard the sound emitted from the guitar strings.

He then opened his laptop and open the famous video site to find a song to play and after a few songs he encountered a recommendation video and he clicks play.

The man passes out before the song even ended.

A loud snore resonates through every inch of the condominium wall.

A snore long lost because the owner has trouble shutting his eyes and fly away to dreamland.

"Tell that to my father. It's his dream, not mine. I play because it's fun not because I love it to death I put my dream on my back." Gulf spatted back at Techno.

He had enough of his father continuously trying to take control over his life. During school maybe it's okay but he's over twenty for god sake. He doesn't need to be babysat anymore.

And playing football as in professionally playing...

"You're sighing again! Gups tell him. Tell him you don't want this. Stop sighing and tell him!" Techno already at his peak shouted at him.

Sigh! It's Techno this time.

"You know I can't. He's... gonna kill me. You too. He'll use mum." Gulf with sorrow in his eyes says to Techno.

"Exactly. You know how he is. See this.. your mother gonna have another heart attack if you got injured again by your father. So just continue being G23 to pursue your inexistent dream." Techno advise.

G23 is Gulf escape from his reality.

He wants to pursue his dream of becoming a singer but it's impossible when someone keeps interfering and paved a different way for him to take.

He finished the last touch editing his next song before uploading it into his account which reaches 1M followers already after three years of actively releasing songs online.
