''Draco —'' Theodore pounded on Malfoy's door, making Navy and Draco look at each other as they rested on his bed, all tangled around each other, ''William wants you to come down to the common room.''
''Already?'' Navy whispered, and she rose her head from Draco's chest as the blond pushed himself off the mattress.
His hand rushed through his hair as he stared down at her, ''Well, it's been a whole day.''
''You're right.'' Navy wasn't slow to follow. She stood flat on her feet as she reached for her clothes that were still piled in a mess on the wooden floor.
''You know...'' Draco strode up to her as she pulled her shirt over her head, and he simply looked at her. He wanted to tell her to be careful again, not to do anything to shred their progress apart, but he didn't dare to.
He was still scared to show weakness. Even if the months they had spent together made him care for her, more than he'd bothered for anyone before, it was frightening to him.
He liked Navy. He adored being with her because she made time for him. She didn't use him for the title he seemed to have at their school. She didn't just want to sleep with him, Navy took an interest in him, in a way no one had done before.
She asked him about his day, sounded interested when he spoke about it. She wanted to know what he was reading so she could read the same thing.
''What do I know?'' She smiled at him as he stayed near, ''Is there something wrong?''
''No, nothing.'' His sight grounded, and he was about to turn around when she wrapped her fingers around his upper arm, holding him from shutting her out again.
''You know...'' Navy looked softly at that blond nightmare as his shoulders tensed underneath his black turtleneck shirt, ''You still haven't kissed me properly.''
His eyes widened.
''Or wasn't that what you said when you didn't think I heard you? You haven't taken me out on that date either, or done anything of all those things you wanted to do with me—''
''Shut up.'' His teeth gritted at her mockery, ''You weren't supposed to hear that.''
''Well, I did—'' She took a step closer, and the hand around his arm moved over to his chest. She had such a sweet smile as she looked up at him through her lashes, ''And I'm glad I did.''
Draco's eyes rolled. Still, warmth bolted through his veins at the way she was looking at him. There was something with that girl that made him absolutely feral.
''So...'' His ring-coated fingers traveled up to her hair, gently gripping a fist full of it, ''Am I supposed to kiss you now?''
Her nose brushed against his, and her heart fluttered, ''I think you are—''
Navy had no chance of finishing her sentence before Draco's head dropped, and his lips collided with hers.
He kissed her.
He kissed her so slowly.
This wasn't what she was used to.
This kiss was soft, emotional, caring.
He finally kissed her properly, and both of them smiled against each other as their lips melted together.
''Finally.'' Her eyes playfully rolled as he pulled away, ''Took you long enough.''
''Yeah?'' He rose a brow, rolling his tongue on the inside of his mouth, ''I won't let it take that long ever again...''
He kissed her again.
