When we had picked up my phone, and talked a bit about our lives, we walked to my favorite bar, it was about 2 blocks away from my apartment. We sat down for a while, drinking and talking. 'Do you know why your eyes glowed?' She asked suddenly. 'Yes, but the glowing is new.' I told her. 'I can tell you, but not here.' I said, looking around nervously. 'Let's talk about this somewhere else.' I suggested. 'How about my apartment?' She agreed. We walked over to my apartment and went in.

'Take a seat.' I offered her. 'Thanks.' She said. We both sat down, and I sighed, thinking about my past; it has never been sunshine and roses. 'So, basically...' I stared, already feeling tears in my eyes. 'My parents didn't want me so they abandoned me, I was found by some organisation called HYDRA.' As soon as I said the word HYDRA, Natalie's eyes widen.

'Did you just say HYDRA?!' She tried to say without shouting. 'Yes, but anyway, HYDRA kept me as a test subject and they did several tests on me.' I said as some tears rolled down my cheek, thinking about the gruesome memories. 'Hey, it's okay.' She said as she comforted me. 'If you don't wanna talk about it, that's alright too.' She said with her comforting voice. 'It's fine.' I said as I wiped the tears from my face. 'As I was saying, they did several tests on me, but none of them worked. Except the last one. It was the most painful, but it did the most.' 'I... can do things now, that's why my eyes were glowing.'

'Do you mind if i make a phone call real quick?' Natalie asked. 'Yeah, sure. Take your time' I said to her.

(Natalie's pov)
'Do you mind if I make a phone call real quick?' I ask her. 'Yeah, sure. Take your time.' She smiles.
212-970-4133 I type into my phone. Lets see if that dumbass answers. *ring* *ring* *riiinn....* 'Speaking with a Genius, Billionaire, Playboy, Philanthropist. Why did you call me on my private numbe- how did you even get my private number?!' The man on the other side shouts. 'Listen here Tony, you remember the Avengers initiative, right?' I ask him. 'Hi to you too Natalie, yes, but the Avengers initiative was scrapped, I thought, and I didn't even qualify.' Tony said. 'I didn't know that but okay.' I sigh. 'Yeah apparently I'm to volatile, self-obsessed, don't play well with others.' He says, clearly irritated. 'Anyways,' I clear my throat. 'I think we might have a new participant.'
