Kakashi's strange dream

You can count on me!

-"I want to stay here...with you!"

I finally exclaimed looking him straight in the face while he was still pondering on something with his eyes glued to his plate.

"What would he think?Does he find it strange? Does he think I'm crazy?Wait he's going to say somethi-"

-"I think we need to go to the R&I"
He stated with a blank espression.
-"What?No,I'm not an impostor!"
I stood up and he followed slamming his fists on the wooden surface while leaning over towards me
-"Prove it then!"

I scretched my neck thinking "he can be so persistent I better find something good".

Looking up at him i started
-"The gift for becoming a Chunin you gave me before dying was your own sharingan,you said that you wanted to see the future trough it.."
I spoke lifting my headband and looking at the bewilderment on his face.
His eyes widend as the pattern in my right iris spun into Mangekyo and I made the plate on the table disappeare into the Kamui.

-"It constantly draines my chakra...but it perfectioned my technique,the Chidori.."

He was speachless for some time and then
-"You jerk made my plate disappear now I have an odd number of them!"
He whined relaxing his shoulders a bit.

-"You're the one that implied I was an impostor,I had to prove othervise"
-"Yeah,but now I'm not impliying anything I'm officialy stating you were and still are a jerk,in both worlds!"
Cracking a smile I asked
-"Does this mean you belive me now?"
He crossed his arms in front of his chest and looked at the side
-"Conclude it yourself,you always loved reading in between the lines after all..."He huffed and then his gaze fell on me once again
-"I think now would be the time to visit Minato if you're ready"
I noded smiling fondly which made him look away as the tips of his ears acquired a shade of burgundy,huh,what have I done wrong?Completley forgetting the absence of my mask I followed him to Hokage's tower.

"Why am I so nervous?He's still the same old jerk,even thought a bit less now...he said he was from another universe.Hah!Does he really expects me to belive that!...But I mean the pattern of his sharingan was identical to min...could it be some kind of illusion?A jutsu maybe?But he seemed truly confused when he woke up"sighing internally the train of thoughts continued its juorney trough my aching head "The one truly confused now is me!I don't know wether should I belive him or not?!"I suddenly noticed that Kakashi was silent for a while but decided to ignore him until we arrive at the tower "Either he's an Oscar level actor or maybe I'm the one schizophrenic here...I don't know anymore!Minato please I need your wisdom!"

I was pulled out of my trance when Kakashi suddenly spoke
-"Hey, Obito what do we say if someone sees me,won't they think it's strange that a dude who supposedly died all those years ago is nonchalantly walking down the street?!"
-"Don't panic!If someone even recognizes you we'll figure out an excuse"
-"In that case you better start manifesting an idea becouse there's a Gai at three o'clock and is aproaching quickly"
-"WHAT?WHY NOW OF ALL TIMES!URGH,JUST RUN!"
I swiftly took his hand and started running away from the aproaching trouble.

-"OBITO!I SEE TODAY'S CHALLENGE IS A RACE HOW NICE,WHO'S YOUR FRIEND IS HE ALSO COMPETING?"
Gai yelled out while i increased the speed as I dragged Kakashi by his hand.

-"I'M SORRY GAI WE NEED TO ATTEND AN IMPORTANT MEETING WITH THE HOKAGE WE'LL RACE LATER!"
-"OOKAY!SEE YA LATER!"
He dashed somewhere just as we arrived in front of the towe.I stopped running and entered the building forgetting to let go of the other's hand.
Only once I was ro knock on the door of Yondaime's office did I remember to let go of the warmth of his touch,which made me slightly self conscious but I shrugged it away.

I cracked the door open just a bit and then looked inside the room to find the Yellow flash sitting at his desk occupied with his paperwork.

-"Sir,I need to speak with you"
-"Oh,Obito what's the matter?"
-"It's important"
I gave him a serious look and he noded.
-"Come in"

I signaled Kakashi to follow me.
We got inside and I closed the door looking at the two.
As their gazes meet you could feel the tension in the air getting stronger.
-"What is this?What's going on?"
Minato urged for an answear.

-"It's really him,it's Kakashi"
-"No,Obito this can't be possible.."
-"Our theory is that I was thrown into this world from my universe as result of a jutsu of some sort"
Kakashi slowly explained nearing the desk.
-"In my world Obito died rescuing me from the rockfall at Kanabi bridge while in here I was the one that died"
Minato blinked metabolising the newly aquiered information.

-"It's him,he has prooven it"
Kakashi lifted his headband reveling his eye.
-"Obito from my world gave his sharingan to me"

Minato looked baffled but soon answered
-"I never heard of anything like this before... but I doubt that this is a trick"
He took a pause and then continued.

-"However I'm not sure how to anunce this to the rest of the village"

-"What if we say that he was on a srcret ANBU mission and that we agreed that it would be better to fake his death?"
I voiced my thoughts right away but Yondaime retorted sighing.

-"First of all we must consider the risks of him staying here...if his arrival was the result of some sort of jutsu, we aren't capable of determing how will it affect both our worlds but at the same time we aren't able to do anything against this jutsu that was unheard of"

-"Whoever cast it must have been really strong"
I stroked my chin with my thumb  and Minato added
-"Yes,we need to look more into it but for the time being we'll go with Obito's excuse..."
-"He was always the best one at inventing excuses"
-"Hey Bakashi how dare you?!"
-"What you called me a jerk I'm just repaing the favor"
-"Didn't expect you would sulk so much for that.."

Our bickering was interrupted by a tiered voice
-"Uhh,I don't want to sound cold right now but I have a lot of paperwork that needs to be taken care of so can we posticipate the bonding time to later?"
-"In that case we're going to the library to search for clues regarding the unheard jutsu"
Minato noded at Kakashi's proposal  and we got out of his office.

The moment we stepped foot out of the building we were tuckeled on the ground.
-"ARGH WHAT THE HELL NOW?!"
Obito yelled as I pushed away with a kick the thing that fell on us.
-"I waited for you two,how did the meeting go?When do we start the race?"

Gai jumped up like a grasshopper as I helped Obito up and dusted myself off.
"Guess he's not less of a Gai in here either"I rolled my eyes internaly.

-"Gai hold your horses for a second now"
Obito started with a serious tone massaging his tempels.
-"Huh,what is it?"
-"We would appriciate yor help"
I emerged from behind Obito and Gai finally looked at me with a suspicious gaze.
He squinted his eyes at me for some time but then his bushy eyebrows shot up as he mumbled.
-"Hey,but isn't..isn't he?"

Obito interupted him.
-"We'll explain everything and you need to tell the others"
He gave us his iconic sparkling grin and a big thumbs up as he said
-"You can count on me my youthful friends!"

For some reason I feel like this part is utterly annoying but I can't deal with it, I hope I'll have better ideas in the future...
