Kakashi's strange dream

You talk too much

-"I'm soo done with these books!"
Obito sulked beside me slamming the book he was previously reading and streching his hands in the air above his head.
-"I don't uderstand how can you enjoy reading, it can litteraly drive a man insane!"

I sighed in defeat,we've been reading for hours but we still haven't found anything
-"Maybe we can take a break"
-"YESS!"

He hurriedly stood up and pulled me with him.
-"LETS GO FIND FOOD!"

I chuckeled at his enthusiasm and asked.
-"Ichiraku?"
-"Obviusly"
He grinned stealing a sideway glance at me.

-"You know I never thought I would see you without your mask on"
-"I still didn't find the time to buy a new one"
-"It's better this way"
-"Huh?"
-"You can't hide behinde the mask anymore"

He took my hand and I suddenly felt butterflies tingling in my stomack.

"I admit it okay? Once I had this huge crush on him but I knew he loved Rin so much that he wouldn't even glance at me...but maybe in this world things were different?"

-"Obito?"
He turned to look at me.
-"Yeah?"

"How do I ask this?"

-"Er-,I was wandering in what kind of relationship were you and the Kakashi from here?"
-"Oh,we were like best friends..but not always at the begining of our genin days we used to fight a lot"
-"In my case it was the same"
I laughed it off jokingly.

We arrived at the restaurant and ordered our meals.
We continued talking about our lives and compairing the events that happened in the past.

-"Haha,you won't belive what I've just remembered.This one time Rin told me that she wanted us to meet somewhere,I came there with a box of sweets but instead of her I found that baka there!You can't imagine how enraged I was when he told me that she set up this meeting so we could practice toghether while I belived she was asking me out!
We ended up fighting anyway...when we depleted tha last bit of energy our bodies had we collapsed on the ground and ate the sweets since Rin never came,later she told us how they wouldn't let her out of the hospital because there was a big croud."

We couldn't stop laughing at the memory while a thought plagued my mind "Its true?Things weren't different here either?"

I know it will hurt but I just couldn't help asking.

-"You really loved her didn't you?"
I voiced with my eyes glued to the drink in my hands and some kind of gentle tone.

-"Was it that obvius?"

I noded slowly taking another sip.
There was silence,neither of us knew how to continue this conversation.

-"It's so painfull,up to this day her face hounts me in my nightmears"
-"Did she jump in front of your attack?"
He noded slowly but then his eyes suddenly widend in realization.

-"Kakashi who out of our team survived in your world?"

I keept silence still staring at the bottom of my glass.
I felt him move towards me and than a warm feeling embraced me as his arms curled around my waist.

I subconsiusly leaned in him enjoing this feeling.

-"Kakashi?"
-"Hmm?"
-"Lets head home"

For some reason those words spread warmth all over my chest,it felt like he was finally noticing me.

I grinned sheepishly to myself and paid the bill.

-"You didn't have to"
-"C'm on you're letting me stay at your house,the least I can do is pay for our food"
