Sans groggily opened his eyes. He expected the ceiling to his room, but instead, he found himself staring directly at the stars. He sat up quickly, alarmed at the new 'ceiling.' Sans looked around, noticing he was on the rooftop of a building. He also noticed that he was on the surface.
"Well this isn't something that happens everyday."
He scratched the back of his head. Continuing to look around, he noticed a jar full of dust with... Papyrus' scarf. It was near the edge, so it was a bit farther away from the skeleton.
"Oh.. Oh no..."
Sans slowly crawled over to the dust filled jar. He tried to keep in tears at the sight of his brother's dust. He got closer to the jar and picked it up, cradling it in his arms. Sans grabbed the beautiful red scarf and placed it around his neck. He continued cradling the jar in his arms, hugging it to his chest. His smile faltered from it's position earlier, abandoning any happiness he had prior.
"Oh, my dear baby brother.. Paps. Heh... I'll protect you now, when I couldn't then."
Tears pricked at Sans' eyes, begging to be set free. He shook his head. Now wasn't the time to cry. He need to check which world he was in, because it obviously wasn't his. Carefully, Sans placed Papyrus' dust down and hacked into the system—thanks to Error for teaching him. After hacking the world's system, he read the name of wherever he was.
"My Hero Academia, eh?"
Sans smiled slightly. This would be interesting. He caught sight of something called a quirk, and assumed it is kind of like the magic the monsters have back at home.
'Might be a good idea to make a file for me.'
He began to hack a file for himself, just in case anybody wanted to look him up.

Sans knew he left out some parts, keeping it as vague as possible. He didn't even put an actual year for his date of birth. He allowed the code to run, placing his file into the files of people in this city. He closed the code, not needing it any longer. Sans sighed and picked up the jar again. He raised his head a little.
"I should probably find a place to stay." He spoke to no one in particular.
The skeleton knew he had some gold, but that wouldn't suffice in Japan. He decided to sleep on the roof for the time being. He got to see the stars with Papyrus, so it was a plus. Not like he couldn't have gone to Outertale to look at the starry sky.
He lay down on his back, placing the jar of dust beside him. Sans closed his eyes, in hopes of getting sleep, but to no avail. He didn't feel tired and was terrified of what would happen to him and Papyrus if he let his guard down in the middle of the night. The short skeleton sat back up, grabbing Papyrus and hugging him.
Although slowly, Sans started to fall asleep. His eyes started drooping. It was peaceful and he was holding his brother. His brother would be safe in his arms. Soon, the skeleton fell asleep, hugging Papyrus as tightly as he had before he dozed off.
Before he did fall asleep, he vowed to keep Papyrus safe, always and forever from now on...
